So I've never really understood steganography. I understand that somehow messages or images can be embedded into other images, but more than that I'm having trouble understanding. I even downloaded some software--camera/shy, as recommended here--but I can't figure out how to use it. Can anyone explain this to me, or direct me to a good resource?

I'm bringing this up because I'm wondering if we've tried destegging any of the images on the squid's site, particularly the new ones with the jeans and the blood.
