Anybody else notice that the two images on Parvulus Patroni are hosted in different places? The first is on blogger, but the second is on eyegasm-design.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Apparently, Blogger likes to strip extra data from uploaded images, and re-compress. That means that the stegged stuff gets garbled and unextractable. The quick work-around, as far as I know, was to use eyegasm. Apparently blogger uploads are now working again, since Mikey's latest image is through blogger.

Er? The clock image is still coming from eyegasm for me, even after clearing cache.

New post to Parvulus, it has another pic, plus a mp3 of some classical music. If anyone knows who the composer would be to this, I'd guess that'd be the key to opening up the pic...

The music is the Rondo Allegro movement of Mozart's Eine Kleine Nachtmusik. (yay for musipedia's contour search!)

*bookmarks Musipedia awesomeness like NOW* Worshippy to notgordian

"Serenade in G, K.525 "Eine kleine Nachtmusik" - 4. Rondo (Allegro)" according to one CD on Amazon. Has anyone tried destegging yet? I can't, I'm at work. Sad

Does that balloon thing look weird to anybody? (/paranoia)

I've tried destegging with all of those words and combinations thereof. I'll keep trying things.

And yes, Musipedia is pretty awesome, thanks notgordian for the link!

That picture makes me think of the 80s song "99 Red Balloons" which was also done in German. Long shot though.

Well, what the heck: Babylon gives the German word for red as "rot". Surely a coincidence... "red balloon" could be "rot ballon" or "rot luftballon". Yeah, I'm really reaching here. Rolling Eyes

maybe there's some sort of connection between the pic and the music we're missing? I've tried everything i can think of related to the title/composer/genre of the music, got nada.

Anyone tried destegging the mp3 instead of the picture? I've tried a few things, to no avail. I'll keep on it.

[EDIT]
Mikey has been informed.
Also, I forgot to add:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

The order of the wheels was 1952473068. I found this by going through the message and breaking all the lines into groups of 10 letters (easier to decode that way too), and then looking for numbers and their placement in the groups of 10.
