In khgsrpa44399, Hale is giving quite an interesting look towards Cassie from across the room. I can't tell if it's jealousy (toward Khaner), or some other dark emotion towards Cassie.

I'm betting it's jealousy. Seems like they've got a romance brewing. Though Cassie sure jumps to the "L" word awfully fast with Hale. Since she ultimately controls who's the next test subject, you think she might jump in and pick someone else if we choose Hale (and it looks like we have)?

Also, anyone else think it's kinda stupid that Khaner volunteers to be a test subject knowing full well he may die just to be close to Cassie? Call me unromantic, or maybe it's just the writer in me, but at least toss in some patriotism or something as well.

Cassie didn't pick him. We did. Although she could have stopped it, by vetoing our election and choosing somebody else.

He seemed in denial. When interviewed and asked about whether he was worried about his safety, Khaner laughed and said "they wouldn't let me die, right?"

Yes, but under the assumption that the military wouldn't let anything bad happen to him. I guess you could say that his naivety towards the military was caused by the fact that he was blinded by love.

Did you guys see that Hippo flash up at the end of the death video? What does it mean??

I only just saw khaners mainly because i was at a very public place last week. And man yes i did think oster was bad until I saw this.
