Oh, and Michael here. First mention for the second straight week! Might be time to take thebruce's lead and step aside.

Indeed. But why would they care? I thought only the government cares about the AAA?

In the first Young Ranchers of South Dakota file, it states that the YRSD is in accordance with all laws and regulations of the US Government. And that any non-adherence to US law gets you ejected.

Oh, I totally couldn't read the hand writing, so I basically skipped that document.

How so? These people aren't terrorists. They simply hate the government Good point. But, it's not like they've ever attacked anyone, although in this one they recommend shooting those who try to take their weapons. Um....are we sure we should be tipping them off about this?

I don't quite remember where but there was an article about them hijacking a truck and stealing weapons. So even though WE know they're trying to keep the country safe from an alien invasion, I'm sure most of the normal law abiding citizens do believe they're terrorists or the like.

As for helping them, what else can we do for now.

And yay to sirpoins and all of the others who got in this week! Very Happy

Thank you, thank you. Although, most of the credit goes to The Bruce because he had the big breakthrough. I was just able to go from there...

re: stepping aside - really, there's no reason to... I only did because it felt like it was kind of taking away some peoples' fun (expressed by people in a few places who kind of felt buggered at not really getting a chance for the solve)... but really, if you want to keep 'going for the gold', no one will/should hold it against you Smile
In the past, similar situations have occurred - people get annoyed because the same people 'win' stuff, then others defend them by saying if they can win, then they deserve to win because it's not against any rules... so *shrug*. Either way's fine. I might go for it again this week now too.
It's kind of like American Idol voting - you might think someone's a shoe-in for safety each week, but the unexpected can occur. I say go for it - go for the top 5; just because we got them previous weeks doesn't mean we will again, so each week is fair for everyone. Heck if someone got all 5 weeks, that's all built into and part of the ARG experience =) (otherwise there'd be a limit to how much someone can get recognition for the DCN)

So anyway... I still love the fact that the 'reward' for today's update is a nice HQ desktop 1920x1200 image of Katee Sackhoff Smile It's not even Resistance 2 related, it's just eye-candy for all those reving Katee fans, hehe.

I have to agree, that was worth the (minimal) effort invested Smile

As for 'stepping aside', my reasoning is the same as yours... to maybe give a few other folks who've been trying hard a chance at getting in the newsletter. My only hesitation is that if I decide to do so, the 'prize' might be something sweeter that week... a one-on-one psych session with Dr. Aklin, perhaps? Wink

I agree with you both. I tried both really hard every time so it was nice to be "rewarded." That being said, I'll probably sit back and watch it all happen next week and try to help out without the spoils Wink

By the way, Bruce, whens that 1920X1200 image going to be on the wiki? Twisted Evil

That just gave me a very interesting thought.

A news article said that the bulk of the game is going to last 12 weeks, the end of which is likely going to coincide very closely with the release of Resistance 2.

I posted that way towards the beginning of the game.

So even assuming that the experiment doesn't stop after Hale, there will only be 2 more candidates up for injection IE 2 more weeks from Tuesday. That would put us at 6-7 weeks taken up so far. So what about the rest? We might be playing a whole different ballgame soon...and I like it.

Edit: And I didn't see anyone mention it, but Hale's new video suggests that he's not too happy with us. Considering that particularly scary look he made, I'm sorta glad this is anonymous voting. Laughing

They are saying they will be using a different serum this week, from the other lab Very Happy

About time line...
Hale's results are next Tuesday (August 19th), then Danby or Gennaro will be injected on Friday (August 22nd), then we will have another injection (August 29th) and the last experiment results the following Tuesday (September 2nd).
However, the vol.6 for AFAO appears next Friday (August 22nd), the vol.7 the following Friday (August 29th) and the last one, vol.8, in September the 5th.
But there are only room for 5 more videos in PA. Possibly: 1) Hale's injection results 2) Next week's elected candidate video 3) NWEC injection 4) Following week, remaining candidate 5) Last injection .... does this mean that we don[t get anything else from Capelli? Or any surveillance video? Or anything else related to Hale?
The game is released in November, so from the 1st week of September to the first weeks of November, there are about 2 months... why do they put the end of the ARG and the release date so far away?
I don't think it's the Beta, because it has already been released, and people from myres have been getting their codes this week.... I am really confused... Rolling Eyes

I've been thinking the exact same thing. The game won't be released until early November, and that 12 weeks will lead us right up to then. We may only be ramping up to something bigger.

Well, if Hale's sister is involved with the Alliance, they may have the resources to track down the responsible parties. She's not likely to be happy about this... thankfully, SOME of us have proven ourselves to be reliable tipsters, working on behalf of the AAA. So I'm sure we're safe Wink

Iuch! Lol
Sorry, I missed the reply telling me about the audio Sad

well, i have been reading again most of the documents, and I have a few more questions....

You discovered the pass for Thompson... anyone knows the possible pass for Dicklesohn ? In commanderholidays, he cited Milton, from his poem "On his blindness", just wondering if this could be related also with his pass today that we are literature/inspired...

Cassie must have a pass too...

in the Stockmeyer picture, when he got arrested, the words Tallahassee and 3752 are in a red circle, the last time this happened was in Khanner's transcription talking about his exam, and this got us a new code to see his test results. Do you think we have missed something in Stockmeyer's file?

In yhe masada proposal, it appears a line that says "sec clearance NTK10" ... does this mean anything?

The Khaner's Sec.Cl. code is for Research Station Igloo... could it be another web for this? Some people in myres was asking about the "old Resistance website" and the pass for those websites a couple of days ago... do you think we can put Khanner's code there? I wasn't in there at that time, and i don't know where to look... Sad

Anyone for a pass for Mitch Biltings? (Communications Officer)?

Does the different colours in the list of cities / dates mean anything?

And that's it.... xD

I was just wondering if we have missed something and someone has the same doubts about these files...
