Checked out the wav file it's a song called "What makes the monkey dance" by Chuck Prophet.

Yep. My husband said (and I thought so but I wasn't quite sure) that there's someone speaking right when the lyrics start. He's working on decyphering it.
Edit: Durrrr... Anortik is just Kitrona backwards. Still don't know what Jupiter, FL has to do with anything, but that's one part of the mystery solved. Also, the subject and body of the email might be helpful.

Where in Florida is Jupiter? And why is that the name for a city?

According to the website on it, it was named from a mishearing of what the Native Americans called it, then translated to the more common form of the god's name.
In game? No clue.
*puts on her clue musk and does the clue mating dance in the middle of clue mating season* Maybe that'll attract a clue.

Back to the music. Have you figured out what is in the background? I heard it in the low points to the song, but I can't figure out what its saying. I don't have anything that works on music so I'm not much help here.

Not yet. My back seized up so my husband's having to do pretty much everything. Unfortunately the music thing is kind of lower on the list than getting the baby to bed and making dinner.

Somebody with audio software should dissect the file to get the message. Unfortunately, I have no expertise with it. But it seems we should just sort of.......delete the song? I'm not sure.

Maybe I'm just missing it, but I don't hear anything but the singing.

About 1/4th in and then again at 1/2 theres a mutter that doesn't match with the song. Listen close though, I missed it a few times at first.
How could you split the sounds so that you could hear them separately? Is there a program to do that? Or is that reserved for James Bond and the CSI guys?

Apparently because it's a wav, it's already mixed and can't be split. Suggestions from this end have been to reduce treble and bass to nothing. I'm gonna try it.
Edit: I tried it, and I'm not gettin' anything. Anyone with audio expertise around?

Guess I'm just not hearing it. But then I'm tired and brain fried.
I did try to use Adobe Soundstudio to see if I could do just that, but I cant figure out if it will let me. Havent played much with it.
