We've only had three to date. The Boston one was a Drunkards Walk - a random search for clues that eventually led to some codes. No one was able to make the Pasadena drop, so we don't know if it was just a package drop or another hunt. The Merritt Island one was a meeting with "Twelve" - no searching needed.

What we know so far:
In a world different than our own (where an extinction-level event known as Year Zero happened approximately 1500 years ago), an entity known as Sky Corporation performed the Alva Experiments on children about ten years ago. These experiments were designed to give the children the ability to detect Alva, which has industrial uses of some kind.

There are either four or five survivors of the Alva experiments. One of them, John Moore, is currently in a coma, and inhabits a second, simulated reality - our world. We have been warned by The Watcher - who is apparently a 'fragment' of John - that John needs to be "woken" or the world will end. How the world will end is not known at this time. The Watcher occasionally answers questions for us.

Other important elements include Anara O'Luain, a nurse, Caitlin Taylor, a resistance fighter working with The Philomena Rising, and Stephen Parker, head of Sky Incorporated.

Okay, I am confused about the John Moore business because as far as I know, there was a third question session I'm in the dark about. But, are we sure that John is John Moore? I mean we know the Watcher's last name is Moore, because he (she? I've been confused about this--I think it's a he?) says his father is Richard Moore. BUT, do we know that he is John? He was always vague about that, so did he answer, or is this just the general consensus? (I mean it was looking like it was to me, but I just want to know how that stands for sure.)

Relevant reason to suspect the Watcher and John are one in the same.. sorta:
