They use that for the names. The chemicals aren't generic.

Okay guys, easy.
The only point that actually should have been taken away from that was that we have no idea what's going to happen yet and as such should probably keep an open mind.

It really wouldn't make any difference; since these are all publicly accessible forums, people from one side are certainly going to be reading the information from the other. Anyone who thinks they can pull off a truely split ARG without any info crossing sides is kidding themselves. I myself have already signed up with two accounts to play both

I don't think there is an actual confirmation. The post-sigunp page says to watch for contact. I assume that once that AR starts on the 29th, one will arrive.

I'm kind of scared, because I don't have a cell phone, so I put in my home phone. I unchecked the text message thing though. Please post anything you get via phone besides calls, if something happens =P

Of course I will anyway Gregoryn95
Also, here's another plot summary that gives a tiny bit more background on the SIMs.
Quote:
Gemini Division is set a short time in the future and follows Anna Diaz (Dawson) who's a NYC vice cop trying to figure out the mystery behind her murdered fiance when she stumbles upon a secret war between human and human creation. A few years back, the Government created a mass of simulated soldiers called SIMs to send to Iraq where they fought for two years. At some point, 217 of these SIMs went AWOL and an agency called Gemini Division was formed to find these soldiers and destroy them. The question is, can they stop them and how does Diaz fit into all of this?
I just watched the preview too. It definitely looks like the SIMs are badguys, but again it could be because they've been hounded and just want to live "normal" lives. The filming also has that strange almost surreal quality like in Sin City or 300 or The Spirit which I myself love, but I know that many people don't like at all. I sure hope that doesn't "doom" the show.

It was in the site's videos section. As is the first episode now. (And pacemaker my foot; I'd bet the fiance is/was a SIM).
