sorry this is a bit late, but wanted to just say that I was at Loyola's law school basement and there are multiple bulletin boards but none with a lost cat notice. I will say that they boards had notes on them saying that all posts had to be approved, so it was likely removed soon after it went up. sorry guys

Wow that's going to suck!

Okay, I'm nowhere near the level of you guys, but I've followed some of this, and I've been wondering about the found poster.

CWallaby55 mentioned the references to "Gabriel","a real angel" and "to the place where he began".

Deercot has used biblical references before, in the catfood riddle. I was thinking these might be clues worth figuring on. I'm not asking you to do the work for me, I'll try to put my brain to work as well while we wait to find the other posters...

For what it's worth, here is my knowledge on the angel Gabriel.

One of three named angels in the Bible (Gabriel, Michael, and Lucifer).
Only mentioned in two books (Daniel and Luke).

Daniel: The prophet Daniel is exiled in Babylon, and God reveals a vision to him concerning the future overthrow of Medo-Persia by the Greek Empire. Gabriel explains the vision to Daniel. Gabriel also reveals a vision to Daniel concerning the "Seventy Weeks," which is a prophecy of when Christ would appear.
Places of interest: heaven, banks of the Ulai, Babylon

Luke: Gabriel tells Zechariah that his barren wife, Elizabeth, would give birth to a son (John the Baptist), and then he tells Mary that she would give birth to a son despite being a virgin (the Lord Jesus).
Places of interest: heaven, presence of God, Jerusalem temple, Nazareth in Galilee

I admire the CM wanting to raise the scope of the game but I think it was too late. He has already lost too many followers because of his tardiness. But what do I know I never created my own game. (or have I?)

It might help if we actually know what we're looking for. I know the flyers are the goal and all, but it looked to me like Eric was dead and buried at the end of Phase 1. It also appears that he strangled Emily Jackson right there with his montage of her life.

So who are we looking for? It seems like that may be the question we are trying to answer. Am I missing something, with you guys solving things (in impressive time) and myself being a newcomer, I always feel a day late and a dollar short.

I appreciate this venue to discuss THP with others because friends and family just respond with polite interest and not much more.

Also, Thank You youthpastor for responding. I'm afraid at this point I can just make some random blogspot addresses with Gabriel in them.

From my personal experience that's quite a favorable response. Smile

Hang in there Torquil, this one runs in fits and starts and has as many questions as answers.

I talked to the CM and he didn't know the poster wasn't up in Chicago. He apologized because I guess one of his "minions" didn't do their job. Here's the flyer:

It's a bit hard to read, but the text under the right tail reads (the right picture, the cat only has one tail.):
Quote:
Lbh sbhaq zr, naq V'ir orra jnvgvat sbe lbh.

Or after a bit of ROTing:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
You found me, and I've been waiting for you.

The text (which I didn't get at first) under the left tail reads:
Quote:
fnz qrrepbg jnf urer

which we know means:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
sam deercot was here

What the "eed" is about, I have no idea.

This part could connect to the section in the same place on the New York flier, which read "uern." Maybe connect those too "uer need?"

I was on my way to work yesterday and saw a Found Cat poster at an intersection on the highway. Looked A LOT like Sam's. I was half tempted to get out and check it.
