MOCFTTAU
(=Multiversal Olympics cheerleading for the teamless among us)

I'm no good at dancing, somersaulting through the kitchen or juggling around with pom-pons and the like. Not to mention actual cheers, which I better shouldn't use unless I want the neighbours to call the police. Cheering out loud in the middle of the night (between 11:30 PM and 0:10 AM German time) is not a good idea unless there are footboll championships and the streets are filled with cheering people.

So: What am I to do if I want to support our European team (GO London!) and all the other labyrinth heroes our world has to offer?

Here comes my idea:
I will run a 3- and 7-circuit labyrinth.
Alone. Crying or Very sad
And blindfolded. Very Happy

How can I achieve this?

Two proposals:
(1)
By taping labyrinth walls on my last sheets of flipchart paper with a thick yarn - and then fumbling my way through them with a crayon.

(2)
By trying to draw the complete two labyrinths blindfolded. Free-hand. Without walls.
-> Connection to the Pythian Games at Delphi, which originally started as artists' competitions.

Try to film myself while doing this. Either with my "free" hand (the resulting videos would look VERY avantgarde and adventurous then, to put it mildly) or by fixing my camera on the table in a somewhat tilted position so I can film myself crawling around on the ground ...

As an added bonus, I could try to recite the first lines of Homer's Odyssey while doing this.

What do you say?

Partners in Crime-- er, Labyrinth Running!

Canzonnett--

YOU READ MY MIND. Sorry for all caps.
I was just thinking of doing that-- except I was just going to run several personal labyrinths, possibly film one or two of them-- and perhaps run the last few ones blindfolded if possible.

I'm going to be in northern England for a little while, which will have loads of beautiful parks to do it in Very Happy

Three cheers for Mythopoeian creativity!
(Even though in my case it's only my third strength Laughing)

So ... where are our other team going to run? Show us your labyrinth places!

Our place, Yoyogi Park:

Unfortunately, it will be rainy tomorrow morning, so we might change the place slightly.
