Good point, we already have a wiki. Unfortunately you need to be a Administrator or Moderator to edit the one already set up. Kind of counter productive for a wiki really. Would it be worth signing up and asking them for permission to edit it? It looks like they've given up on it.

So the last puzzle links Easter Island, Khnopff and the Sublime somehow? Other than a few people calling Khnopff's work "sublime", I haven't come across anything that links the three together - particularly Khnopff and Easter Island. Frustrating.

As for the Wiki idea; not bad, and I agree that the Admin/Mod part is a definite issue. Additionally; the game seems to be quite dead on multimatter. Nevertheless, there's always despoiler. One way or the other: we need to make up our minds quickly since putting a Wiki together definitely takes up some time.

Apart from that; I still feel like the last few pages need a summary. Honestly, and I don't mean this as critcism, I have a pretty hard time to figure how some solutions were met since it seemed like the entire group scattered as soon as polycystin.com hit 9PM: I doesn't give me a step-by-step feel (if that makes sense) which more likely has to do with the way the PM released all of the information at once which (in my opinion) made it far less cohesive.

Meanwhile I'm still working on getting the translations done and looking through all the Wiki's. Perhaps some green tea will help. Wink

 		translation of letter page 1
Here is a summary of events as this are taking place in recent months.



April:

Everything started when Adam received an antique stone from New Zealand.
The latter had been recovered on the plateau Campbell in the old continent submerged tasmantis! Adam was very excited about this discovery.

Just two days later, I crossed Adam at the university, he was out of him.
he was angry against his colleague from New Zealand who had sent the fraud which included anachronisms that even a first grade student would have been able to detect!
I did not have any detail, but I understand that he was refering to runic inscriptions which, by their attendance, eliminated any possibility that this stone dating back to the Paleolithic age (3 million years to 12 000 years before Jesus Christ).
Worse! he had already sent a sample to test the carbon 14 dating , the results would make him the laughing stock of the university for at least the next session.
Thereafter, no news.



May:

i saw Adam a month later ... and he was no longer the same. His face was stretched,he was pale, he had taken almost 10 years,
he was no longer angry against his colleague from new zealand, quite the contrary! To my surprise he was planning to join him soon
to supervise itself the site of excavation.
However archaeology was the only thing recognizable from Adam because everything else had changed!
And this mania to speak in hushed tones, come if he was afraid that someone is listening. He became unrecognizable.

Thought I'd give this a shot...
Ok, so a summary of Part II so far.

August 17 9pm EST - the site was unlocked to reveal video feed 001, which was Eleanora saying:

I was thinking about something... [....] Artifact, I think it's a major clue. [....] Adam was working with Beatrix Gray (?) Historian

Similarly, there's a 3 page diary from Eleanora here, which Toupiie is working on translating at this moment. April and May are in this post.

As well as that, there are three circles to the right that are clickable, which reveal further puzzles.

Circle 1 goes to http://www.polycystin.com/05-cl001-intro.php which has the words

5lgub3 gives http://tinyurl.com/5lgub3 which in turn leads to http://www.polycystin.com/fcp-7.php which is this Youtube video. The video is a pair of girls visiting the Pantheon in Paris and seeing Foucault's pendulum - because of the date of upload, it probably isn't in-game.

Foucault's Pendulum is the name of a novel by Umberto Eco, which contains a lot of occult stuff brought up earlier (the Thule Society, the cult of Cthulhu etc.). Chapter 29 of the novel begins:

Sublime (latin : sublimis, « qui va en s'élevant »
ou « qui se tient en l'air ») désigne dans le langage quotidien une chose grandiose et impressionnante (renversante), qui ne peut néanmoins être perçue ou comprise qu'avec une sensibilité très fine.

Using "artifact" as the key for the Blowfish code found in the file http://www.polycystin.com/config.txt a set of coordinates were found

which are the coordinates for Hanga Roa, or Easter Island, Chile.

The B.G referred to is Beatrix Gray, also mentioned by Eleanora in her video. Beatrix Gray commented on the Foucault's Pendulum Youtube video with the following:

Her Youtube account is http://www.youtube.com/user/BeaxtrixGray and we have been trying to contact her via that, but so far no reply.

The Khnopff mentioned is probably Fernand Khnopff, 19th Century Belgian artist.

As yet this puzzle remains unsolved.

 		Don't know if this will help, but going through all the Khnopff info it seems he was really into Hypnos, the god of sleep and dreams, (whom he claimed to worship.)
Hypnos also crops up a lot in his art, could this maybe tie in with beaxtrix (check the X's and I's in the name XIX) she talked about a dream.

I'm a little confused about that... I thought the XIX Was stating 19? Like XXIX is 29? Roman Numerals and all that.

 		Yeah, could be but I just looked at the name and the extra X in it and thought "could be maybe". The dream thing though is a big part of Khnopff. I have sent a message to Beaxtrix on youtube about dreams just incase.

 		Okay so we understand this all started when Adam recieved a rock which was supposedly discovered in the submerged area known as Tasmantis, in New Zealand, by a friend of his and it turned out to be a fake, which was going to cause Adam to be ridiculed by the University.

But we've then learned that Adam had planned on now joining the same friend/colleague on an expedition.

I'm still trying to translate.

 		Oh wow, I got puzzle 2 totally accidentally.

I started inputting random Khnopff work titles into the box, using this page http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Fernand_Khnopff
With the whole Easter Island thing, I concentrated on ones that were heads or busts.

The solve is:

In other news... The June translation is this:

Now would this mean his name is Adam Vivan?? Or, did I translate wrong?
