[R2] Day of Injection 08/19/08

So anyone taking bets on what'll happen to Hale today?

Somehow the injection doesn't happen. Hey the guy could get sick and they'd have to put it off til he heals (*cough*Until everyone else is dead*cough*)
Absolutely nothing happens even though he's injected, even without injecting the cure
He's injected with the cure and it "works", prompting them to end the project and study the results, thus allowing Gennaro and Danby to go untouched. {*We already know that they must not develop a cure here or else RFOM would never have happened.}
He's injected with the cure and it "works", prompting them to test this "working" batch on Gennaro and Danby both of which die horrible deaths since the batch only worked because Hale has some kind of natural resistance.
Hale turns into a hideously disfigured monster and Cassie suddenly decides she loves Danby instead! (Wait, what? Can't happen? RFOM?...oh okay. Nevermind then!)
Ect, ect...

And btw: Yay for our own forum! Very Happy

What I'm curious about is, the serum they are using on Hale is coming from a different "research" facility where it supposedly worked on someone. Is there mention of somebody else who is immune to the virus in the game?

Absolutely. Actually there are number of them that will be the "backup team" in R2 called the Sentinels. They're from the Dan Aric Johnson Air Force Base in Iceland, IE the probable headquarters of SRPA.

Thanks for that info. I'm not a big FPS fan, but this ARG is getting me interested in buying this game. (So, yes, viral marketing does work.)

Sure thing! I myself don't have the game system or the game; I just read too much. Viral definitely works though, I would LOVE to own this game if, you know, I could actually afford a PS3. But I definitely went to TDK 4 times (5 including the prescreening), which had a lot to do with how excited the game made me!
