Here's an idea This should be here...oops.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Why don't we organize a systematic attack on ACHERON.GRAUEMACHT.COM
Someone come up with a comprehesive list of demon/devil names. Divide the names amoung volunteers, we have the days password, all we need is the login name(s) (right?) I have seen a couple of the lists floating around on this forum. Someone take the "A"'s, somebody else take the "B"'s....so on so forth.
What we need is someone to "spearhead" this. An "administrator"...any volunteers?

Maybe I should have posted this sooner, but I was under the impression it was common knowledge...
Response from NetOpsSPLAT grauemacht.com to me:
Quote:
We are currently awaiting Janus to complete an internal audit of security protocols. Once that is confirmed and no potential threats exist, we will re-generate and release login information.
Stand by.
Response from agent 20 to me:
Quote:
What is it with you people? This is the third request I've gotten to divulge the old login information, and you know I am not authorized to do that due to security protocols.
We currently do not have login information, and are waiting for Network Operations to provide it . Because of the Tropical Storm the launch has been delayed, so we are also requesting authorization to move south and engage the target on land.
Awaiting further instructions.
So my understanding is the logins do not exist yet and will be supplied when [meta]the pm[/meta] netops is ready.

I had to zoom in a bit, and make some guesses, but that seems to work.

Huh.
Somehow ended up in the firewall controls for Styx.
New riddle:
Quote:
A_THING_OF_IMMORTAL_MAKE_BROUGHT_DOWN_BY_THE_DESCENDANT_OF_THE_UNENDING_LABORER
EDIT: AHA. The Styx login fields are now open.
EDIT2: And now they aren't.

I think I know the answer to the riddle. Spoilered for everyone who wants to do it themselves:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
My guess is Chimera. Bellerophon, a descendant of Sisyphus who was cursed to roll a huge boulder up a hill for eternity killed this beast, which is usually said to be of "Immortal Make" Only a guess at this point though for obvious reasons, but seems pretty plausible

Here's a version of the white board pic that I attempted to enhance in photoshop to make it easier to read. Don't look at it too zoomed it or it will start to look like nothing.

Acheron login was NetOps_047E, pw = ND6558C (today)
That let us into the acheron hierarchy. Once there, the debug info gave us a riddle: "THRICE_A_DAY_ITS_WATERS_FLOWED,_ACROSS_THE_WAY_FROM_THE_CIRCE'S_BANE"
Answer = Charybdis. This allowed password to the Diagnostic. Multiple logins caused that firewall to crash.
We have the pw for styx and maybe for it's debug.
pw = 01J39T49
debug=Chimera
Working on the log-in and...

waiting for the PM. See latest blog .

Finally, my tweak of the camera pic.
