The strange boy from youtube
Started a new thread.

A new link on 13lights.org leads to TheArkPariah youtube account.

enaxor found that this is the boy of the picture icerimp got and that in the video The Way We Move this guy tells about reoccuring dreams.

Additionally the movies have the tag "John" and the tag "Souleg" (Don't know what the later is?)

The description of the Random! (Act I) movie is:

BeIng Random THen Beating You all with the ranting Stick. Love and rEspEct that I still have no Plan for doing these things.


Taking only the big letters reveals:
BIRTH BY SLEEP

tags: John Souleg Video Blog Random What's My Age Again

Guess there is even more hidden there.

Based on a google search and an OOG site, I'd say Souleg is John's last name.

[meta]Looks like our "John" participated in another game at some point, using the names "John Souleg" and "TheCyberPariah". Photo on the related site looks similar. If you do the search, view the cached page, as the name "John Souleg" has been changed to something else recently.[/meta]

I have the impression that the whole account has already exisited before it became IG. So it might be that all things besides the last video is "OOG".
Maybe John get involved recently in this game, which would explain the deleted "John Souleg" membership in this google-found game site, because this site is really OOG.

Taking an established internet exisitence and set it up as our "John" makes the whole thing so much more realistic. Why shouldn't our "John" not have a normal life (if you accept making such videos as normal Wink ).
So I assume those people that comment on John's account are OOG.

Or at least they do not know anything about the "computer simulated world" or "year zero". They are just friends of John, who does not know something, as well.

Exactly. It just makes no sense that the actual John would contact us, and give us a picture of himself and one of his journal entries, when we are supposed to be tracking him down... and he is not supposed to know what's going on.

For all intents and purposes, the John Souleg on youtube is just a young guy preparing for college who has been recently plagued with a recurring bad dream. Any contact made with him should probably be subtle, and grounded in "reality". At least thus far.
