Call for interviewees for dissertation research
meta conversation of ARGs and LG15

Folks,
I am a graduate student who is writing her dissertation on performative narratives across platforms. Well, you can guess where I am going with this.
My first chapter looks at performative narratives in the print medium (i.e. some experimental novels such as Don Quixote, Tristram Shandy, Pale Fire, and the open-source novel, Exit Stategy). My last two chapters talk about disruptive narratives created by griefers in Second Life (a virtual world, for those of you who are not familiar), and my second one (which will come right after the print chapter and will exemplify how an open source narrative could possibly work) is on ARGs and Lonelygirl15.
So, I've been in touch with Jonathan Waite and Tony Walsh, and I will be chatting with Jonathan after the ARGfest. But I also need to talk to others. People who can help me out:

1)Anyone who is a puppetmaster and can provide me with an insider's view on how they help build the narrative.
2)Anyone who has knowledge about LG15.
3)Anyone who is a veteran in the ARG business.
4)Anyone who knows interesting people to talk to.
My name is Burcu Bakioglu.

If you're going to ARGFest, I'd talk to almost any of the panelists you can get to. They're all real experts in the field and are some of the ARGing "greats". I'd especially talk to Dave Szulborski; he's written books on the subject.

There was an interesting SXSWi panel about griefing. You could try contacting some of those panelists. They specifically talked about Second Life.

Dissertation Research

Yeah, I was there actually. I know the panelists... Most of my Second Life fieldwork is done (been working on that for the last two years) so now the ARG/LG15 section is starting, hence my inquiry here. Thanks!

Yes, I am still talking to people if you are interested. Also decided to write about Art of the Heist. LG15 is a different chapter now. So let me know if you are interested: palefire[at]palefirer[dot]com.
