[video][oog?] Resistance 2: Twisted History Released 5pm GMT today at Eurogamer.net - this video is a timeline overview leading to Resistance 2.
It's art style seems very similar to the ARG (though it could easily be 42 is following the game's art syle) - and note the 'reel to reel'
Anyway... does the narrator not sound a lot like Edward James Olmos (Cmdr Adama!) to anyone else?

Resistance has always had that war-time propaganda art style, even before the ARG. I tried stopping the video trying to read the posters and pamphlets but i don't think theres anything significant.

That looked really cool, regardless of the fact that it somewhat diverges from actual world events. *cough*

You mean the Russian population wasn't wiped off the face of the earth by alien invaders 60 years ago, only to be replaced by super-human cannibalistic monsters?
Dammit... fake history is so much more awesome.

Yeah, except you know...no one* would REALLY want the entire Russian population wiped out.

That really did make me LOL. Is there anything we can't stick that moron with? (besides, you know, being a decent human being?)

I tried to think of something, but I'm pretty sure there isn't. He's fair game for everything..

I certainly wouldn't WANT the whole Russian population decimated... but I have to admit, that story would have kept me awake in high school.

Thank you, for your support of my nationality. Now to proceed with a second rise of communism and World War 3. *cough*
But yes, there are some holes that need to be considered when watching.
-A wall longer than the one in China? My ass. There'd be a revolution against the tsar and the rise of communism before it was even a quarter done.
-That message they heard in London from Russia isn't Russian. Sounds slavic, but not Russian.
-A WALL BUILT WITHOUT UPRISINGS!?!?!?
-Roosevelt lost? Insanity! This Grace character sounds like a piece of fecal matter. I don't care what Dana Carvey says, Roosevelt was the greatest public speaker of the last millennium; not Clinton.
-Must I mention it again? Russians are not THAT loyal to the tsar.
This ends Greg's weekly Questions.....to consider when watching [insert film/movie here]
