In regards to something hidden in there, you can hide something in a .png. The programme can be found here:

However the picture is too large for that programme. I would tend to agree that its probably not stegged. Have turned them into a gif anyhow.

At first look id have said there was something with the windows, but not so sure now...

I think the first question we need to ask is where this pic is from, im stuck between darling Harbour Sydney or New York (although tbh it could be any American city for my knowledge)

It looks like an elevated train in the photo which means, as far as I know, it's more likely Chicago than NY. Chicago's got Els and NY has subways.

I agree that the city picture is probably Chicago but I'm not sure that knowledge will help us find the blog.

I think it is strange that on dumpster.htm we have Jack jumping out of his house through the roof (obviously he lives in a dumpster) then getting hit with a chair. John sees a man who I think is Jack getting hit with a pipe. Does Jack mistake a pipe for a chair? Confused

Great job! Why didn't i think of that? Haha.

Anyway, this blog is really weird. I think this guy works for the CIA or a bank. He says in his first post that "I've only been here 2 months, but I know I'll work here for the rest of my life." Then, in his second post, he states that his boss has books "about psychology, and 1 or 2 books on cryptography." What kind of boss needs to know how the mind works while cracking encrypted codes?

The "book" he got in the story on the main website is a book "written in a weird language". Perhaps it's an encrypted book?

Also, what kind of universe do these characters live in? In one of his posts, he says that: "He takes a lot of interest in making sure the animals of the city are healthy, while we are suffering. "

Well, what are "we" suffering from? And why are only the animals healthy?

There are way more questions now then answers.

Whatever universe it is, time paces differently there:
In the story the businessman is "happy to have finally gotten the book he's been trying to get for SIX YEARS". In the blog he mentions that he's new in the company (2 MONTHS) and it sounds as if he saw the book there for the first time.

I think the animals he is talking about are the homeless people, poor people, etc. People that would be given free meals or some other kind of public assistance. What are we suffering? Maybe not receiving public assistance, I'm not sure.

I am curious about the book. He could have known about the book before he actually found out who owned it or actually saw it in person. I asked him a bunch of questions about the book, which I hope he answers. John's boss must have suspected that someone wanted to steal his book whereas he had started hiding it.

I am still wondering about Jack the dumpster guy getting hit by a chair and John seeing a guy getting hit by a pipe. Seems like it's the same incident just seen from 2 different perspectives...except a chair doesn't look anything like a pipe.

I think he is a government employee. We know he worked in a cubicle and was surrounded by books about cryptology and psychology. What about a job in the Library of Congress - or to be more specific, one of the off-limit areas of the Library? The book was placed there for safe keeping, but John was drawn to it (like a moth to the flame) and had to have it. He got a hold of a book of destructive force that lured him in, and got him trapped in the room.

It answers my question about the pipe and chair, it sounds like there was a big fight so probably a lot of stuff hitting people in the head.

The book used to belong to his father. He hasn't answered any of my questions about the book yet.
