Hey y'all. So I didn't get over to the address in Brooklyn today because work got just a tad crazy. Sorry. I'm going to try to get to it tomorrow. I will bring my camera in case there is anything to be learned from the Secure ID Guard headquarters...backed by a major venture capital firm...in the middle of Bushwick

This game is starting to feel like one of those choose your own adventure novels...remember those from when you were a kid. I feel like I'm going to choose the wrong page and fall off a cliff or get eaten by a shark or something.

Is anyone here actively playing Zach and Nicole's side of this game? Nicole left a contact in one of the prlog press releases. And we do have a number for Carlyal capital. I think Lazarus might be onto something. Nicole is sitting there all like...oh..."this is my girlfriend Tyler and I want her all better" one episode and then she's all like..."we should put a gun to her head and blow the codes Ethan told her out of her brain" the next episode. So if they bad guys have a double agent, and we're presumably playing the part of the good guys...should we get a double agent too.

I betcha the Carlyal people cut their teeth during the cold war...they are probably classically trained in double agent espionage.

EDIT: I tried to desteg the beach picture and didn't find anything I used (De)Steg It and also tried to GIMP it by hand. Nada.

Well I was also thinking I should PM tyler and tell her she needs to get in touch with my friend lazarus...since he's been talking to Tim. Nicole is listed at the bottom of this press release

Yeah, I can't get Tim to respond to me...you can't get Tyler to respond to you and no one knows why the heck Ethan has a picture of Italy on his blog!

This probably deserves a [META] tag but I agree with your frustrations Lazarus. The first week's question was basically "did Ethan leave me because he stopped loving me, or was there something else?" But the answer to the first week's puzzle...was actually the second week's puzzle. Maybe. Because even now the PMs are leaving messages on the game forums like..."ARE YOU SURE????"

Well, no, I'm not sure...not SURE at all. I'd laugh my butt off if the puzzle the third week was deciphering a message from Ethan warning Tyler his email and blog has been hacked. "Carlyal is warning you against themselves because they want to scare you into staying put and not coming to find me. They thought with your memory problems my darling
you would be prone to a mental breakdown!" And we had to figure out if THAT message was real or faked. LOL. You can never know anything for sure, you make your best guess from the information you have and you either a.) wait until more information presents itself b.) go on what you go and figure out the whole truth based on what happens going forward. I really like the plot of the game, and parts of its structure because I'm in lobbying and politics and manufacture consent/dissent for a living but the point system combined with the nature of the information flow through the players to the characters is just not quite right.

As far as I know there are only four players that are in the friend circle. AgentGreen is still playing but probably isn't posting here due to the competitive nature of the game. I don't know about Linda, but Sassy isn't playing anymore because she got into a fight with Tyler about 20 pages back after Tyler wrote her and accused her of trying to break up her and Ethan. LOL. I personally find the fun in playing a game like this working with the hive mind so people not getting into a position where they can communicate with the main character is really cumbersome.
As far as I can tell from the score sheet, there's only like 35 people playing this actively because everyone else has 35 or 10 points from signup.

The creator guy at the cast party thing spoke about how they planned some sort of real life interaction for this game, but not just in New York. Doesn't mean there actually is anything out there, but I'll go out and try today. I asked directly if I was supposed to find something at the Habana Outpost Cafe at 757 Fulton (the original address for Secure ID Guard) but no one would answer the question directly. We'll see, of course I will post any pics or info I get.

yeah i agree, as far as i can tell we're all pretty good game players, well the ones actively playing. but i don't think they're presenting their information in the best ways possible. we're going into the 3rd week soon and only 1 of us can "talk" to tyler and other then meetings with tim we don't see much interaction. i know the creators are saying that we effect the game and outcome but so far i havent seen any effect. there has really only been updates on the friday, it seems like a hurry up and wait game. i really want to stick with it but i want more to do!! lol
