Team Tokyo MO report

Video: http://jp.youtube.com/watch?v=cD4PuafVShw
Team Photo: URL

Dikaiosune: GasKetz
Runner: argfan
Walls: smk tenkawa shiina DDincrement Rumiko unagi jackdh Huma Laica Marina QED rimuse Asako

As I wrote, half of the team members got together around midnight, six hours before the MO. But it was raining, and we had to look for a new place. It was two hours before the MO that we started drawing the labyrinth. Then we started some training.

The place was wet and slippy, but as you see in the video, argfan covered his feet with towels and fixed them with a sort of duct tapes, which made him avoid slipping. He insists the true reason why he did it is that, being a ninja, he always do it so that he can run without any noise. He says he usually uses black tapes.

Around thirty minutes before the MO starting time 6:30am, the other members started appearing. Fortunately it stopped raining. But I think we could train ourselves with the final full-membered wall strategy only for several minutes. Some walls were first-timers.

So our first run at 6:30am was not so fast. And when we heard 8.88s from Team Wellington we got somewhat desparate. But our second run was almost the same as our former best record. So argfan concentrated on the third run. Then the result was 8.43s.

I think differences within 0.1s are not significant without special electronic timers. So I personally feel the 3-circuit game was almost a draw (or should I rather say we succeeded in athletic synchronization?). Argfan seems to want to run again two or four years later, and Team Tokyo has a few talented girls. So I am looking forward to next chances.

Unagi, this is so amazing. It was a very nice and very clean run. Congratulations to you and all of Team Tokyo. You are superstars! Worshippy

Thank you, Dante, Pita and TWolf!

I added the URL for a team photo above.
(I hope GasKetz will upload photos/videos later somewhere)

I was told by Eli to take a team photo of MO, but where should I send it?
