RSS feeds with wrong author

yes I've noticed this phenomenon on the RSS feed as well. It's been around for quite a while.

What happens, is any posts next to each other in the RSS feed belonging to the same thread will have the most recent author as the author of all of them.

It's a minor technicality (and no it's me by default, I think it just so happened that you looked at posts where I'd been the latest to post in that thread)

For example - if the threads are letters and the authors numbers, and the posts are listed most recent first, they would appear like this in the feed:

A1
A1 (where author is actually 2)
A1 (where author is actually 3)
B4
A5
C6
C6 (where author is actually 7)
D8
B9

that's the pattern I've noticed... It also means that if rss items are updated in your reader, then say (as per the list above) someone else posted in thread A, all the authors until 'B4' will be updated with this new author.

not sure if it's easily fixed. Sounds like a variable that isn't being updated on a post-by-post basis in the RSS generation.
