For people who haven't taken the survey, have a look.

Considering that one of my largest clients is a McDonald's competitor, I don't think I'm even permitted to take the survey...

Re: Unfiction sponsored by FindTheLostRing_Survey HELLLLLP! All right, I give up.
That link doesn't work for me, in either Firefox or Internet Explorer. The link from Edwin Moses's site (which I think is the same link) also doesn't work for me in either browser. I keep getting an "Unable to connect" error message. I also have never seen a pop-up on the main Lost Ring site, Alex/Ariadne's site, Monica's site, Larissa's site, Eli Hunt's site, or anywhere else.
What the hell am I doing wrong?

I've had all the family members whom I've ever persuaded to watch the trailer or take a look at the games sites take the survey now. Can recruit more, I'm afraid.

Can you connect to http://www.insightexpress.com ?
Can you connect to http://core.insightexpressai.com ?
Is the "unable to connect" error page something your browser is giving you? Does it say whether the site itself is offline?
Is the tinyurl sending you to one of the domains above?
btw, I finished the survey, and appreciated that they allowed for my status of barely watching the ARG from the sidelines. And at the end they gave me some bonus code that I cannot figure out how to use, because the instructions seem to assume I know what an Omphaputer is and how to use it.

No.
No.
Yes, from both browsers. No (although that is mentioned as one of the possible explanations in the boiler-plate text the browsers give me along with the error messages).
Yes.

This looks like either a DNS issue on the part of your ISP or you're behind a firewall which is blocking the sites which host the survey. Sorry. Fail.

Are you using a proxy/anonymizer that may not be allowing access to their cookie? Doesn't sound like the old "[Shift]+click" trick would help for this.

I usually get a different message when it's a cookie-related problem, not complete inability to connect to the site. (And since I don't actually know the old "[Shift]+click" trick, I can't speak to that one...)

Sorry...
That should have been:
'the old "[Ctrl]+click" or "[Ctrl]+[Alt]+click" trick'
To bypass popup blocking.

You can post the code in this thread and we would be happy to show you how to use it.
The 'bonus' is behind-the-scenes material.

The "redemption code" you received can be substituted for the #s in this format and it'll take you to a pdf of some behind the scenes stuff.
http://164.109.150.213/PRUVO/####/####/####/####/####.PDF
Though I think there have been a few codes that linked to something other than a .PDF file.
theBruce is collecting them all, here .

That one is pretty interesting, Soda!
Anyone knows if there's any way of watching the video mentioned in that file?

yes, it's a pdf, but it's about videos (the first character videos!)

Unfortunately, it's marked private.
