I haven't figured it out yet, either. But, I think there are at least 2 other ciphers (besides Hagelin's) that we have been shown. I've used every key I can think of for each of these ciphers...nada.

Nothing has changed on Ethan's facebook or blog as far as I can tell.

Also, did anyone else notice that an extra scene was added to episode 3 since Friday night?

There are so many possibilities. You can make a list of possible five letter words. But then how exactly do you use them?

Do you decode the line of code left in the the already decoded message?
Or do you need to decode the entire decoded message for it to work?
Or do you decode the original message with another keyword, which would result in a bunch of nonsense with only the one line making sense?

I've tried all combinations (I currently have four 5-letter words to try out) but nothing worked.

Do you need to decode the message and the results time after time with new keywords?

The C-38 using a 6-letter keyword. I only have two of those. Nothing works, either.

I think we need to do the simples solution: decode the already decoded message with a new, as yet unfound 5-letter word.

I'm a bit confused, maybe I've missed something (wouldn't be the first time)... What do you mean by "already decoded message"? I haven't been able to decode the most recent message at all...

Ellaina, you can decode the message with a new keyword which can be found by studying Ethan's blog. I thought it an impossible task myself, but somehow Irene found it. She posted something about it earlier, or you can PM me if you want the keyword.

But when you decode the message, there's one line which remains in code. That's why we're all stuck on this.

i was joyful then i lost it because of the latter half of the message, thing is i found a word CARNAWAY appear near the end of the message after using hotel as the key thing, that might be a path, i dont know because the code is 33 letters long.

I'm just wondering. Is anyone else going to see Tyler perform tomorrow night?

a theory

Something that popped up in my mind.

Suppose the next keyword is a song title on Tyler's CD. Which you can only get by donating at her justgive.org list. Or by attending her performance.

Supposing she told Ethan about her songs before, of course, so he would know which to use for his encoding.

Ash, if you make it, pay attention Wink

Lets hope your right Schrijvertje. I think we've just about tried all the relevant 5 letter words out there and probably quite a few that aren't relevant!

So no one has cracked this guy yet?

I went away for the long weekend and tried for a couple hours last night but I got nothin.' Anyway, I gotta work some long ass hours today and won't be able to devote any more efforts but if you find out anything Ash, let us know.

I checked the Caffe Vivaldi website and Tyler Mills isn't listed with Dov.

I really think the picture on Ethan's blog is more relevant than it looks. I just can't shake the feeling, but I've tried a lot of variations of the name and picture. I just can't figure it.

The rapidshare version of the picture on Ethan's blog is Camouflaged. No password required. Inside is a coded PDF file

Can you post that for us? My company's firewall blocks rapidshare...
