There aren't any confirmed links with anything yet...but we're all assuming this has to do with anime/gaming/the like.

So...who has any ideas with what to do with the picture...? Rolling Eyes

I might just wait until the site's back up... lol

I'm at PAX, and just found a business card found for this on a table in the hotel next door. Unlike the one at the start of the thread, it says 'I need your help. -R' on the back, a slight difference from the thread-starter. Going to the address on the front goes to the 'we got hacked!' kind of front page, and of course none of the links in this thread work anymore. But... I'm going to guess we're gaming-related, at least.

That sounds like exactly the same card we have fFound. text o the back and everything. Cool.

I wish I'd known what the guy was doing... It was someone in... well, he was sharply dressed, at least, but not a business suit or anything. Just looked like a normal congoer, walking through what was functioning as a sort of after-con party in the hotel lobby. Looking at what people were doing, but not asking questions or saying anything. He sat down with a laptop for about five minutes, then walked off, and a couple mins later I noticed the card on the table by where he had been.

Weird, to say the least. I'm not sure if he was the original one who received the card or not, though.

Can somebody post a picture/scan of the business card? I'm kinda curious to see what it looks like.

Also...quick question. Does anybody remember the webmaster's name on the Jinteki site? Random, I know...but I think it was C. Johnson or something to the like...

Maybe we should shoot them an email or post on the forum asking about the security breach??

Found one at PAX? interesting, that's two gaming cons now. I don't remember seeing anything at PAX about Jinteki, though I did pick up a few random buisiness cards which I will re-look through just to make sure.

Thanks, but there was a second name...I can't remember it though >> I thought I'd do a search to see if their name popped up on any gaming-related wikis (though I highly doubt it...lol)

*still waiting for pictures Very Happy*

I thought it was C. Garrett? I don't remember the first name, but it was something rather unusual.

n01se

The website has been updated by n01se

There has bee n a security breach.
0 ur systems w 1 ll be available again once they have been s ecured and th e damage repaired.

Hey hey campers, welcome to grade school! Guess you're not the apes I thought you were. Big shocker, it looks like Jinteki's up to something. Gasp, I know, big corp leaving a trail of blood? Yeah, that's never happened before. Anyway, I've been sniffing around on their system a bit and there's some juicy bits here and there. Now, I know none of you are on my level, but you can't be totally useless if you found this, so try and keep up if you can! I'll be around here and there as this little drama unfolds. What can I say, it's better than daytime TV. Until then, see you in the funny papers. –n01se

As you can see in the original message was changed so it spells n01se with the seperated letters/numbers.
He also says that there is more out there. So we will have to search and find it. Lets get to work.

The space letters spell n01se, but that isn't a folder or any filetype that I can come up with. I've tried n01se.htm, .html, .jpg, .mp3, .wav, .mov, .gif, and gave up. So who knows?
