Nice Solonor, I like the email. Hopefully we get some answers. Just so everyone knows though, the forum is still operational.

...really? I still get a 404 not found error. I think we're going to have to wait until the site's back up before we can take the next step...Nice email, Solonor

What's the link to the forums again? I'm sorry, but I can't find it.

edit: "Admin" and "JTCRamuro" both share the birthday July 31, 1980. It could just be a random date thrown in but I thought I'd point it out.

Anyone think about contacting the webmaster?
The original "This page is down" message did not have the webmasters email.
I sent him an email that "expresses my concerns"
"I would like to express some concerns about this security breach. I was thinking about future use of your products but now I do not know. Would it truly be safe working with a company that has a major enough security breach that would cause them to take the site down. Can you explain this for me?"
I hope to get a bite

They're all but telling us there's something in that logo, what with n01se talking to us and the logo being mentioned on the forums. It's either misdirection or we're missing something.

I got a reply but it didn't say anything
Hello,
I am sorry to hear your negative impression of us Mr. *****. We here
at Jinteki Corp. strive to create a unique product, and due to the
excellent quality of our products, we have attracted the attentions of
many other companies. Fortunately our product is tamper proof and the
security breach has only affected our website. Please look for it to
go back up soon.
Thank you for your concern,
Kimura Utada
Webmaster

Either way...its still the only thing we have to tamper with right now ><
Edit: That's weird...half of my post was cut when I post it. Oh well?

GREETINTS, I HAVE BEEN INSTRUCTED BY MS. AMURO TO CONTACT YOU WITH THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE:
THANK YOU FOR YOUR FAITH. I HAVE UNCOVERED SOMETHING JINTEKI HAD BURIED. NEVER TRUST JINTEKI, THEY HAVE ONE FACE FOR THE PUBLIC AND THEY USE IT TO GET INTO PLACES THEY SHOULDN'T. THEIR HIDDEN FACE IS THE ONE THEY SHOW TO THOSE THEY DESTROY. H.B. HAS SEEN THAT FACE AND WALKED AWAY. THEY ARE THE ONLY ONES SO FAR TO DO SO.
BEWARE WHAT YOU SAY. JINTEKI IS WATCHING YOU AND ALICE JUST AS THEY WERE WATCHING ME. THEY WILL DESTROY THE EVIDENCE IF THEY SUSPECT ANYTHING. I HAD SOME HELP HIDING WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW, BUT THEY WILL FIND IT GIVEN TIME.
I am new to ARGs. how did we get the key to this?

Hello New-ARGer! I won't bother spoilerizing anything here, and simply lay out the fFacts.
The code was determined partly by guessing, and partly by knowing a previous code. 'R' gave us a sort of short puzzle previously fFor which the answer was "humanity." The word Humanity had been seen all over the jinteki website, so it was a pretty good fFit. As it happens, the word Jinteki is a Japanese word which means Humanity, (or "relating to humans.")
So when we were told by alice that we already know the code, the fFirst logical thing to guess here was "Humanity."
Cheers!

It's a standard cryptogram. the kind you can find in newspapers and what-not. There are various tools to solve them online. Here's my fav:

Playing around with the forum I found this person not listed on the user list:
http://jintekicorp.com/forum/user_profile.php?webtag=BEEHIVE_FORUM&uid=04
Just replace the number at the end to pull up different users.
They have a "JTC" in front of their name like Amuro does and they registered August 4th.
"Nisei" apparently means a second generation American- or Canadian-Japanese person.
Edit:
Also here is a list of terms that aren't searchable on the forum:
http://jintekicorp.com/forum/search.php?webtag=BEEHIVE_FORUM&show_stop_words=true
Is this a standard thing? I didn't really notice anything unusual about the list but who knows.

When you fully adjust the contrast of the white rectangle at the bottom of the shapeimage_n01se picture it looks like this. Does that pattern mean anything to anyone? And yah you'll have to save it and zoom in I'm bad at resizing.

Through Lurking Well, it's been a while since I've popped my head in anywhere. It got frustrated watching these games start and immediately dissolve. This one looks like it might be going somewhere though, so just wanted to say hi and toss my hat into the arena.
