Re: Confirmation?!

The "one dollar and fifty nine cents in assorted loose change" is confirmed 100% Watchmen-related. It comes from a police report in the graphic novel that states Rorschach had "1 battery powered flashlight; 5 individually wrapped cubes 'Sweet Chariot' chewing sugar; 1 map New York underground and subway system, dated 1968 with recent alterations drawn in with a red ballpoint pen; withered remains one red rose; one dollar and fifty nine cents assorted loose change..." in his pocket.

Im not sure if this youtube video is related to the ARG, but i'm going to be keeping my eye on the user who posted it

Good catch! Between that and the Veidt tag, we can at least be sure that this is somehow related to Watchmen. Whether or not it's official is another story, but it's worth looking into, IMO. Smile

BTW, FWIW, the song in that video is American Tune by Simon and Garfunkel.

I might be reposting but i'm just reading this. It might be the start of an arg.

Does anyone see the numbers in the first three pics? Might they be of any significance?

I see a 6 in the first pic and 6 + 5 in the 3rd pic. I can't see any numbers in the 2nd pic. I have no idea what they might mean.

Sorry to bump this- I haven't played an ARG since the (disappointingly short) Cloverfield game (omg lame, I know). I can't believe I missed out on the Dark Knight fun! D: Anyway. ... Um, do ARGs hide clues in videos? There's those Video diaries detailing the making-of, just wondering if I should scrutinize those closer~ o_o;;

Has anyone heard anything more about this? The movie comes out in March, so shouldn't this be starting soon if its going to happen?

Sorry for bumping the thread, but at one point or another, some downloadable co-op games were announced as a go-alongside project with the movie. Might be an ARG for that, but otherwise, if they're doing an online non-ARG game, I don't think they really made any campaigns for marketing otherwise. Might be possible, just unlikely.

Ok it's probably been like a year or so since I've really done anything ARG-wise, but I was looking at the first photo and although it is probably just the lighting the object looks like it has writing on it and was superimposed.

And sorry if y'all want this thread to die. Just was bored at 1 in the morning.
