Using those letters no anagrams seem to make sense.

I did send Margaret an email recently asking what buildings Mona's ashes were under but I'm assuming since we already worked that out (I think?) She won't respond to it.

Anything else we've yet to try?

I don't think that this has been mentioned before, but the link on the trailhead page http://voicesinthestatic.com/ to the second page http://www.voicesinthestatic.com/sleep.htm is a very small dot with a dash under it. It's in the upper left hand corner.
You can see it if you increase the text size and then hit "select all".
dot dash would be E T .

That's not a dot-dash, it's just a full stop that's hyperlinked to sleep.htm. If you move your cursor to the top left corner of of the page it allows you to click through to sleep.htm; it's just a way of hiding a link in a page. The dot has a line underneath it because that's how hyperlinks appear by default in your browser.

I was looking at the door image again and noticed this filmy area at the bottom of the floral patterned cloth and on the door below.

I'd noticed that too and it definitely looks like it was added to the image. I haven't been able to get much more out of it though.

The dash may be due to the hyper link but the dot is in the source. So it would give us another E. I can't post the entire line or the forum will read the html and mess it up, but here is a little snippet.

The Door JPEG through an ultra-violet filter effect. Thinkiing that the entire edge of the image was "washed" to alert us to the hidden phone number in the corner. Making certain we'de look in the shadows Dunno

Thanks for the negative image Waitress. I could see the face there but couldn't adjust the pic to the point that I thought anyone else could.

Amandel already found another face (or 2) and posted the image on page 16 of this thread. http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=26611&start=225
Those are the only images we've gotten so far besides the static.

Even for a hyperlink something would have to be there to make it clickable and a . is usually the best [or smallest] way of hiding something so it would still appear in the source code.

Ok, I didn't know that. Smile

The other reason I thought that particular dot might not be Morse is because it would give us far too many e's for any sort of anagram.

Along the same lines (not seeing all dots as Morse), I'd considered the

.
..
...
..

on thedoor.htm might just be numbers, so 1232, or 431 (vertically), but I don't know what those might mean. I tried entering them as the security code for the voicemail message we found, but no luck there.
