Sweet! Maybe we'll get phone calls!
OTOH, it mentions an "upcoming adventure"... does that mean this was all pregame? Or it's over, and we're being invited to sign up for the next one?
Still can't find Broxbourne, but it's sleepy time for me.

Anyone else solve (or even get) the riddle also? It says not to help each other but..... you know how we roll.

Gah! Sure did, and it's a doozy, like one of those Marilyn vos Savant things. I hate those.
Who's Mr. Martin, and what's the deal with his gut?

Here's a small hint for anyone who might need it:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
You start off by picking out a penny from the cup labeled "Mixed"

Thanks natas, but for the record and anyone who might be watching *cough*, I never really asked for a hint.
Just noticed that "Professor" Mike Forester CC'd all 10 of us, so our email addresses are out in the open.

PM's should NOT be using info from these board IG. These boards are strictly an OOG resource and I would stop playing if the PM's did so.

Won't need to "pimp a hint" this time cuz I've come across this riddle before. But ty,natas, and will accept that peril in future to aid the "world of Science AND Mankind" which sounds mega daunting.

Hey PM: The BCC button is your friend.
So nobody should use "reply to all" when sending back the answer
BTW. This is the email I received:
Quote:
Participants,
Firstly, let me congratulate you all on becoming the first ten to be accepted into the Apace Mindset Honors Programme for non A.M staff members. Or as Patricia likes to call it "The one where Normies get sucked into what we do for a living" - Just our little joke.
But now, all messing around aside... Despite Natas' thinking he is a "pimp" of some kind and Mr. Martin worried about the size of his gut, I personally believe each and every single one of you has what it takes to do exceptionally within this course and will do the world of Science AND Mankind a great justice. But, first thing's first.
At the bottom of this email will be a riddle, pretty rational and easy but a riddle nonetheless... I would like each and every one of you to get back to me within forty-eight hours with the answer. Those who fail to respond within the given timeframe and with the correct answer will be apologetically, removed from the course.
You can help each other but at your own peril... There will be penalizations, for it.
Good luck to each of you...
Set your mind free!
Professor Mike Forester: C.E.O of Apace Mindset.
Is this still the same game (weirdnessicity)? Or is this a new one?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Take the penny out of the "mixed" cup. if it is '80', mark the cup '80. If it is 2000, mark the cup 2000. (the cup cannot be "mixed" because the labels are wrong to start with)
Then you have two cups left. Let's say you picked out a 2000 penny. that means the two remaining cups (currently marked 2000 and 1980) are the cup with the mixed pennies and the cup with the pennies stamped 1980.
Process of elimination deems that the cup marked 1980 cannot contain 1980 coins (once again because they are marked wrong).
I think you can get the rest.

So I signed up too late to be one of the lucky first 10. What's the riddle?

Thanks, natas. I just figured out why I couldn't get it; Poor reading comprehension. if i had realized they were labeled wrong, I could have done it with just your first hint. Thanks a lot, dude =D
