Sorry. I have TiVO and ADHD.

The glowingmonkeys site is on the show, it's a sticker on a lamp post just before she enters the Massive Dynamics building.

I can try to get a screen grab of it.

I thought it said blowmonkeys, which was a band from the 80s.

The speculative portion of this will help us to define a pattern which exists. Such as the Fibonacci Sequence which is part of the golden ratio pattern, as well as Da Vinci's Divine Proportions.

It is related to the show, in that the images seen show Phi on a frog, the apple, the hand with the triangle. As well as the passcode.

The lights could be evidence of aperiodic tiling as well, Penrose's famous theory.

Speculation is all one has when one has no data...yet. Smile

Just trying to toss ideas out there that are germaine to the conversation.

The pre-game pretty much revolved around the Fib. sequence. At one point we even had to insert the the next sequential set of Fibinocci numbers into a URL to get a kl00. So I serve you a lightly pan-fried trout. Trout

Two strange things that I noticed:

Before Peter enters the interrogation room to question the twin, you can see him enter on the monitors. Was this a mistake or intentional?

When they enter the twin's apartment, there's a cooking show on TV. When the twin is being chased, he enters somebody's apartment and there's a quick shot of the same cooking show on their TV.

Here is the sequence of the interrogation room scene:

1:04:04 - Peter leaves the room
1:04:07 - Peter is shown entering the room on the monitor
1:04:10 - Peter is shown approaching the door to enter the room
1:04:16 - Peter enters the room

And here are the chef show screencaps. I know this probably isn't a huge coincidence, but I figured that I'd post it anyway.

For the cooking shows it looks like a different shot, so I'm not sure it means anything and for the monitor thing, it could be just a time jump, we see it from a 3rd person POV when he enters, then jump back a bit to see it in more of a first person POV for him for dramatic effect.

I'm not saying it doesn't mean anything but there's some rationalization for it not being important.

Also, it seems as though the flickering street light near the beginning before the explosion is flickering morse code... but I can't make anything understandable out of it (and it's very hard to isolate and make out).

best patterns I've been able to determine, and I'm not entirely certain of the letter breaks, are:

--- .-. (crash) --. . --. .-. .- --. .-. .- --. (at about 11:47-12:10)
which makes something like: OR----GEGRAGRAG
and
.--. -. ...- -. .. (at about 13:57-14:02)
making something like: PNVNI

so it's doubtful I've got it right, if it is in fact morse Smile

I often thought I was seeing morse code. I'd keep an eye on those blinking lights.

which also reminds me, that yellow light looks very suspiciously like the floating yellow spot around the symbols...

md lights
flickering

Cool

Yeah I noticed the street light as well. I thought it was message related. Didn't it flicker again? What about a simple binary code like on=1 off=0?
In looking at patterns fibonacci is my guide. I'm away from my DVR someone want to give it a try?

Ok, I've got a wiki set up now, at http://fringe.wikibruce.com

I've only been working on the clue page - getting fresh screen captures from the high definition version of the show.
If you see anything missing, make the updates =P

Doors

Saw an odd little sign on the doors to the tank. There are retangular outlines around "Heavy Doors" and Save your Fingers

That is weird. Notice it's in the Doctor''s handwriting.

I don't know if it's too weird... he probably genuinely doesn't want any of his assistants to hurt themselves. Smile

I do think it's funny that the doctor is so safety minded to write up a sign like that, but is fully willing to risk the life of an FBI agent by doping her up and attaching strange electronic devices to the back of her skull. Very Happy
