Hey, everyone!

So far, is mittlewerk the only clue we have?

Has anyone figured out a way to slow down the time in the test? (Slow or suspend the timer) Surprised

We got "mittelwerk" from the hidden image in the newest video. Right now, it's all we have.

Ok, maybe I am slow....I worked out all the math problems by hand. Pretty sure I got most of them all correct. But the test took me exactly 20 minutes. I got Helios. All of the rest of the questions/answers were easy peasy.

So all you math whizzes out there....here is the one I wasn't sure of:

7 inputers get 1001 pieces entered in 429 minutes. How many will 3 inputers get in 1001 minutes?

I HATE MATH.

When I calculated it out by hand, I got something close to 1000, so I answered 1001. I don't have a calculator, so this one sucked. Can any of you left brainers give me the correct answer?

1001 it is.

7 inputers doing 1001 in 429 minutes means 143 per inputer in 429 minutes, or 1 every 3 minutes per inputer. In 1001 minutes, that's 333 1/3 per inputer, so for 3 inputers that equates (mathematically, at least) 1001 in total (but effectively, 998 complete with 3 1/3 parts Razz)

your answer is 1001.

First you calculate the pieces per minute (1001/429=2,333)
Then the piece/minute by inputer (2,33/7=0,33)
Then you (0,33*3=1) and 1*1001=1001

I went to DWY and took the test before I logged in, completed the testing and was told that I should register or log in. When I did log in, I just happened to check my progress and it says I'm in Cronos Surprised without having taken the test as "me" Shocked

Weird. Probabaly a cookie thing?

Cheated, 2:43 on time. Ganymede/Steropes/Antaeus/Crius. Helios on the no-cheat account.

As much as I enjoy some of these tests, I do wish something unexpectedly exciting would happen soonish. Or maybe I'm asking for too much? ^^; Ah well *lurks and waits*

your answer is 1001.

First you calculate the pieces per minute (1001/429=2,333)
Then the piece/minute by inputer (2,33/7=0,33)
Then you (0,33*3=1) and 1*1001=1001

Yeah that is what I did. EXACTLY. But I did (.33 x 3 = .99) and then (.99 x 1001= 990.99), so that is why I chose 1001.

Wow, my brain doesn't want to work that hard. I HATE MATH. I can do it, I guess, but I HATE IT.

That sounds so much like myself, Sassy. Though, I actually enjoy some math, but mostly stuff related to geometry: area, radius, circumference; that kind of thing. It's comical to hear me say this, but I have always loved the Pythagorean Theorem for some reason... Laughing

BTW, how come I don't remember doing a problem like the one you guys are describing? I got one about how much would ten bullets cost if 1000 of them cost ten dollars, or something like that. Not anything about inputers(what the *heck* is an "inputer", anyway?). Confused Wink
