As portuguese, I'm a really ashamed for never haven't read any Saramago, but I think I'm picking up a copy of Blindness today (when he won the nobel prize back in, I tihnk, 1998 there was a fad in Portugal where everybody was reading him).

The names of the accounts seem important, but a google search produces nothing relevant.

Nice work getting all of the locations Clairenor.

Welcome riquardo. I hope you'll enjoy the book. I think reading the book first is a very good idea because you'll feel more of what the characters do if you're only reading and not seeing. I'm also curious about the youtube account names. In the book the people are described but not named, and I wonder if they changed that for the movie to make it easier to follow.

For the record:
For the record, the first four videos posted yesterday by camronbrian were:
iamblind (monitor)
Life is blind (subway station)
Work is blind (driving under bridge/overpass)
Chance is blind (DASH bus)

Posted later on the 17th by jamesslash1
Blind to what you see (subway)
Love is blind (same as Work is blind)
Sin is blind (same as iamblind)

I've checked the IMDB page for the movie, and all the characters are nameless ("Girl with the dark glasses"). Maybe the names are significant for some other reason?

Can someone with better computer skills check if there's some clue in the flash source of iamblind.org (assuming that's ok to do!).

Glad to be here! Thanks for the welcome.

So I emailed the address, and havent gotten a bounce back like most others.

Anyone get anything from emailing 1003SPLATiamblind.org?

Also, can anyone read what is on the screen of the "work is blind" one? The post-its or the screen?

Thanks for the welcome, and no prob! This is fun ^^

ETA: I can't QUITE read the post-its, but I'll try messing with the screenshots in PS once I get out of work.

I think what's on the screen is some kind of spreadsheet or data entry system.

I think it's possible to read what's on the monitor with a magnifying glass, but I can't find mine (in the middle of plumbing emergency).

Definitely some kind of spreadsheet...I can make out the words "Company" and "Phone" (a 555 number) but nothing else.

Also, giving the video a second look, there's some kind of paper pinned to the wall behind the monitor.

ETA: When the camera zooms in, you can tell that the paper is a birthday card. Significant??
