hello, everyone. i finally got control of my user, and now i'm back in. In my opinion, I don't think Dan would use his name in the game... I wouldn't. Anyways, I agree that it's probably junk added to the pic(your a meanie Mr.Toasty, you made me look at it again!!!) and maybe we should just ignore the 4k.

P.S. who the hell was the Blond in Natas' link?

Update: Csstrife311 is on... i guess i should make a feeble attempt to talk Very Happy he never responds, so oh well.
YAYAYA!!!! I'm happy, he responded!!!! here it is:

Panflutewanderer (9:21:21 PM): hello, dan. How is the analysis going?
Panflutewanderer (9:25:06 PM): Ok then, i shall leave you be, considiring you don't want to talk. looking forward to playing the 'game', goodbye.
cstrife311 (9:27:46 PM): I apologize for being so rude.
cstrife311 (9:27:58 PM): PS I HAVE HIM AGAIN
cstrife311 (9:28:06 PM): You must follow my rules
cstrife311 signed off at 9:28:09 PM.
cstrife311 is offline and will receive your IMs when signing back in.
Panflutewanderer (9:28:11 PM): ok Dan.
cstrife311 is unable to receive offline IMs.

Did i do good? or should i shut up Sad i feel stupid now. *sits in a corner, wondering who he has*

Talked to cstrife.

Sorry guys, I haven't had much time to catch up on the newer stuff, I just had a lengthy chat with cstrife311 and he started telling me stuff, but then told me I couldn't tell anyone in the team and that he'd find out and stop telling me details. I really don't know what to say other than I will be taking some time off of work and will be gone for a few days. I hope that what I find will help, but if I don't post by Sept. 20th then I'm sorry but I failed you...

Excellent catch! Going one step further and looking at where the picture is located
http://www.bullerman.net/DrAugustDv/DrAugustsKeys.jpg

and now looking at that directory
http://www.bullerman.net/DrAugustDv/

we have another page:
http://www.bullerman.net/DrAugustDv/dsk.htm

which says:

i'm glad to see you've made it this far.
let's hope for craig's sake you aren't too late.
if jeff told you as much as i think he did, saving craig will be simple.
the next time you see me online as cstrife311 tell me only the two words that were on bullerman.net not to long ago. good luck

Zeroone or Zero One

that is, if dvorak's simplified keyboard is still in play....

i tried /Zeroone, /ZeroOne, /zeroone and all the other combinations but i came up empty

so what now? what could zero one mean?

Nice work! Actually it translates to a whole lot of one's and zero's. Turning those into numbers gives us a lot of binary. Translating the binary gives:

Which looks to be a bunch of ROT-ed (ROT 1-7)text:

Site updated

bullerman.net has been updated yet again

it's a black page that, when highlighted, says only one word: "Apple"

this keeps getting stranger and stranger

Yes, strange - "Apple" is actually the alt tag for an image, but the image file isn't specified in the source, so you see the alt text instead. I wonder if that was intentional or not.
