BA's site update http://www.bseeingu.com so... I'm minding my own business, browsing some old links... checking out mination.jpg... and it's CHANGED!!!
well - sometimes is changed, and other times it's the same.
http://www.bseeingu.com/images/mination.jpg
Looks like the server gives me 2 different jpgs.
http://www.bseeingu.com has several files doing this, including mp3's which aren't mp3's
check it out.

just a quick follow-up:
clicking on that .jpg link above might just give you hex-code garbage displayed in your browser, especially if you use Firefox. We're finding that IE is more forgiving about the headers -- the http headers, that is; the server is responding to your request for a file with a reply header that misidentifies the file type. Firefox can display the images on a webpage (such as bseeingu.com homepage) because it has the context of the html layout to conclude that the files *might* be images and displays them accordingly; when you have just the image file, FF doesn't really want to make a guess.
Anyways, play around with the site, have fun. The /images/ directory is open for listing, and the files are all timestamped from August, but the content of the images themselves seem to be unchanged. It's the server itself which is choosing to deliver an alternate image (in some cases, or error message (like "Upgrade Required")) at random intervals. (or ARE they random? wooooooooo )

Thanks for posting this sapagoo. I wonder when this was updated, if people (including me) had stopped checking it regularly,

Yay! Stuff!
But yeah where did the Scream video go from the site? It's definitely gone now. Or maybe it just doesn't come up anymore when you load the page.
EDIT: Do you think this has anything to do with it?

more to explore (why am I awake at 2am?)
I saw Mapmaker's post on sentryoutpost about finding the /errors/ directory, and figured I'd post about it here too, in case people aren't back into the habit yet of checking the in-game forums.
I've been poking and proding http://www.bseeingu.com/errors/chrysalis.cgi and all I've gotten so far is a series of random error codes:
500 Internal Server Error
501 Method Not Implemented
502 Bad Gateway
504 Gateway Time-out
506 Variant Also Negotiates
As posted at SO, the images were randomly returning error codes in the 400's range.
(maybe I should try going back to sleep)

Thanks for pointing that out, cath - I didn't notice that you got 5xx errors from the CGI as opposed to the 4xx errors from the pics.

I am really feeling like everything is going to hit the fan come Halloween, and things will return to regular movement. Maybe it's just the cliched writer within me, but that seems really fitting.

After cycling through many of the old CL postings the last few days, now the site just says "Feel the cosmic forces."
