I sent my mailing address on the 16th and got both the please activate your account and account activated emails on the 19th. So there's a couple of days lag time even for those of us who got emails. Yesterday, I sent in a question and that email bounced; I've wondered if it's possible that inbound mail goes through only at certain hours of the day. We might want to track that at some point.

Though you're all likely monitoring the iamblind.org forums, just wanted to let you know audreyplainview has posted again, here .
"It's wonderful to see us working together. We must let our Elder's lead us."
Thoughts?

on the surface it seems like those who are getting "shipments" will probably bring more clues to the table. Since the whole working together things was emphasized and praised by audrey, I'd imagine each shipment will contain different things that need to be pieced together to make more sense.
I got a feeling I'm going to have to learn braille before this is over lol

The next shipment will come to you.
Help the others who come to the ward in the meantime. They will need answers.
I didn't get this email yet I sent it on the 17th and it didn't bounce, what gives?
Welcome to all the new-ER users! This is certainly getting more interesting ^^

@evanly - Did you receive an email after you registered for the IG forums? You should have and there will be a link in there to activate your account. Just a thought...

Yeah, i was actually one of the first to stumble upon the Forum and register for it.
I was able to post this morning, just not now. Was wondering if they stopped posting while they add more clues...or maybe just wishful thinking.
Am able to post now!

Same thing happened to me. Hope this doesn't mean we won't get whatever they're sending!

Re: Problems of Blindness About the problems

we can talk intelligently about the problems of blindness or the potentialities of blind people, we must have a workable definition of blindness. Most of us are likely familiar with the generally accepted legal definition: visual acuity of not greater than 20/200 in the better eye with correction or a field not subtending an angle greater than 20 degrees. But this is not really a satisfactory definition. It is, rather, a way of recognizing in medical and measurable terms something which must be defined not medically or physically but functionally.

Good catch evanly! The account was created a few days after all the videos, and the link on the bottom leads to a site that does viral marketing.

The quote comes from A Definition of Blindness by Kenneth Jernigan, president of the NFB from 1968 to 1986 and an active leader of the organization right up to his death in 1998.
