400 cards

Card no 400 is the same card as Card no 416

In online collection card 400 does not exist

No, I still think that might be a misprint... I got the 400 and 402 card info from wikipedia, but there's no more info there... the names both match up to 405 and 410, so I think whoever added them got confused.

we'll find out soon I'm sure Smile

as for only physical, if there's a code, it's online. if the online card doesn't match the physical card, I'd say there's a problem or bug. No purchase necessary - you can send a SASE to receive random card codes so you don't have to buy cards.

.... ok, but the card number is "2" not 400?
What about the title? Does it say Bookworm With Attitude, or just Bookworm? Or does it say nothing?
Because the scan looks fairly blank of other text, even the website url. Unless you censored it, if that's the way the card actually looks, it looks like a misprint...

What other text is on the card?

d'oh, that wasn't your scan, sorry.
hm.
so the only difference on your card is the card number and the title + "with attitude"?

that is odd indeed...

your card #2 is correct. It is card #2 (see the list)

eta: and the code for your 400 isn't "GGF9..." it's "G69F9HN9T" - the same as 416.
not sure what to think of that... perhaps it's a regional difference? eg "Bookworm" in one country, "Bookworm with attitude" in another. both unlock the same card online...
but then there's walmart and walmart uk cards too... I dunno.

Ohh

Oh and thanks for the 416 code Smile

p.s. The Writer for that Wikipedia article got his info for all the Cards from the Picture Copyright description on the39clues.com webpage.
This is why the names are not accurate, it's just a description of the image, in this case Amy Cahill, same goe for card 402...says Natalie Kabra but i bet you that's not the name of the card.

416 was from an Angus & Robertson bookstore, which is Australian, afaik (see earlier in the thread)
no idea about 400

And yeah, I went through the card list on the 39clues site way back.. my list is compiled from 39cluesworld, wikipedia, and their official art/photo credit page.
Regardless, I wouldn't expect two cards (different numbers) to have the same entry code... that seems pointless unless for some reason there had to be some variations of the card in different countries, which is a thin theory at best. still stumped =P

okay, my last comment on Surveillance card #2 (in hand) and #405 (in "online collection") Laughing .......

Earlier today, I went to a different Borders Book Store, in hopes of seeing a different "free...take one" card but they had the same card on the display as the store I visited yesterday. There were about 20 or so in the box, and everyone of them has a #2 for the card number. So now, I have two #2 cards in my collection...."Secret: Surveillance" and "Agent: Dan Cahill". Confused

I can vouch for that, because I have the same physical Borders card and it has a "2" instead of "405," although it shows up virtually as 405.

ahhh... perhaps the 400+ cards only show 400+ online? but the physical cards are numbered more like 'special set' #1-16? of course that still doesn't explain the difference in title... Confused

maybe send scholastic an email asking about it.

anyone else have a 400+ card that has the 400+ number in the corner?

The 5 400+ cards
do they have physical versions?

OK,

So the 5 cards you can get (with a 400+ card number) are:

Card 404: The Spy Kit - G69CTWHC9T (Walmart Card)
Card 405: Surveillance - G69CKR3K9T (Borders Card)
Card 410: Natalie's Strategy - G69D22369T (Indie Card UK)
Card 413: Ninja Boy - G69K3JP99T
Card 416: The Bookworm - G69GF9HN9T (Angus & Robertson bookstore

Now, I guess that the physical versions might have different numbers on them (I am using the virual numbers).

I can confirm (and so can others) a physical card for #405 (the Borders one). And as I understand it someone confirmed a physical card for #416. Do others people have physical versions of any of the cards?

Also, do we know what the source of #413 is?

thanks
