 		[PHONE] Voice Messages from the Other Side
we have a #.... 206-888-5610
So, we have this phone number, 206-888-5610 and all we've got from it so far is "There is truth in the silence. Patience." Surely, it's there for a greater purpose, no?

I started wondering about all the references to communication instruments, and thought about this message from Mona:

Just for ease of reading: Speak in instrument you do receive answer in words speak so each can hear language is different you have found mine also i will listen

All the wonderful, creative tributes to Mona didn't seem to be what she wanted. What did she want?


"Speak in instrument" ?

Could it be that we are meant to call in our tributes to that phone number?

This is probably just another long shot, but I thought I'd share it anyway.

I believe her intention was for us to protest and correct the situation of buildings being placed over her remains. Our research indicated otherwise and we learned that a memorial is in the development plans. That put us in an awkward position in terms of real world campaigning. It seems to me that we did the best we could under the circumstances.

I believe the message doesn't finish with "this is a ghost", but instead with "This is Echo."

 		I've changed the subject and description of this thread from "[PHONE] Phone-In to the Other Side? we have a #, but what for?" so that we can use this thread for any changes on the VM at 206-888-5610.

Just to record what we have so far...
September 4 th : ""There is truth in the silence. Patience."

September 19 th : revsleestaxx got a phone call. Something about "22". (That was pointing to the autumnal equinox)

September 27 th : revsleestaxx got a phone call (posted here) "ignore the distortion i am the ghost"

September 29 th : "Ignore the distortion. Your attention gives him power. This is Echo."

edited to include incoming calls.

New here, thoughts and mistakes?
Alright, I'm totally new here and to this sorta game. I stumbled upon this on the internet, sifted through this forum and many other things that have come of this. I have called the numbers, listened to the audio that has been posted. I'm curious as to one thing...has anyone tried leaving Echo a message on his phone number? I did, just a little while ago. I haven't received anything but then I only just signed up and it only just happened. I didn't see anything on the phone number forum about anyone leaving messages so I'm curious.

I hope I made the right choice here. Don't know.

I left a message there yesterday leaving my cell phone number and telling Echo he can call me if he wants. No response yet, but Echo doesn't seem to have been especially active the past couple days anyway, so we'll see.

EDIT: And as an add on, it does /NOT/ sound like Echo or anything else I've heard before. Almost sounds like RATED R but I don't know what the heck that is supposed to mean so I could be wrong. Just saying. Freaky deaky.

thats what i heard too.
scared the shit outta me.

this is my first ARG so you know i'm not used to creepy things like this and it seems like every single one has some sort of dead people and/or ghotsts involved. :/
also did anyone notice that at the door a red spot thing appears and disappears over the hand? I'll go check the other threads for that and the other questions I have so you don't really have to answer that.

Heya, Daniella, and welcome. About "thedoor.htm": there are no flash files on that page so nothing can be moving there. It's prolly just a contrast trick on your browser which loving the heebie-jeebie stuff I wouldn't mind seeing myself. Smile

It's alright. I find some of the sound clips and stuff pretty creepy too. Do keep in mind that the phone messages and such really are just some guy making his voice sound funny. Since the phone ones are lacking the electronic distortions, it's actually pretty comical sometimes when you think about it.
