Past Due Thanks

Many thanks to those who helped steer me in the right direction on Question21. I now have to beat myself up for failing to get that one. But nonetheless, thanks to magnetO and Faeryqueen21 for the assistance.

are you sure that isn't just lined notebook paper? that's what it looks like to me. also, back to the troll question, for adaptability:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

if:
e = end # of pies
s = start # of pies
b = # of bridges

e = (1/2^b)s + ((2^(b-1))-1)/(2^(b-1))

i think that's right, anyway...

If the image of the note for Q23 is music, that might explain the wierd lighning bolt/4/7 thing. Maybe it is a quarter rest.

So I've noticed that the length of the 1st and 2nd set of numbers are correlated. I know this seems obvious but I wanted to point out the similarities in case that inspires someone else to notice a pattern.

Magnet0/kie have a ratio of 9/6, adventurik 12/8 and I have 20/16

Hope that helps someone cause I'm stumped.

I've got Question 23 figured out. Everything you need to solve it is provided in the clue and number chains. There is only one hint I can give but it may give it all away, or you may have tried it. So I'll spoiler the hint, not the answer, and if you need more feel free to PM me.

I was looking at the number pad yesterday morning and couldn't make any words out of the sequence. 7=PQRS, and 3 of those don't make any word I can think of. So I guess the other sequence means that I use only 1 of the three 7s, an 8, 1 of the four 7s, an 8, and one of the 2s. Still trying to make a word out of those letter combinations. Does the word turn out to be an artist's name?

I'll dish out this one other hint which should point you towards the answer. Be warned, only rollover the spoiler if you want to know how to get near the answer.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Perhaps the single, duplicate, and triplicate numbers stand for one letter each? Say like, sending a text message to someone.

That's what I tried immediately at the beginning. Nevertheless I get just some meaningless sequence of letters. So I thought the second sequence with 0 and 1 is the key, especially since the number of letters is the same as the total number of 1s.
But I do not understand the meaning of the 0s and the signs below (=, o, +)
From what you have written, it seems that there is no relation to the 1s and 0s.
So is the result you got a meaningful english word or just a sequence of letters?

Yes, it is an actual English word that you seek. Could the 1's or 0's maybe point out something that is missing from your word? You are so close to the answer. Your thought process serves you well. I did manage to solve the question without the use of the 1's or 0's, but they did help me confirm that my solution was correct. I hope this helps.

Try doing mine AUZ (posted at bottom of page 8 ), it may make more sense to you. Then tackle FQ's for confirmation, i think she drew the short straw lol

Well this certainly would have been easier for me if the guy knew what a "4" looks like. Damn lighting bolt kept throwing me off.

Thanks for all the clues. I think I got mine figured out. sheesh. I don't use [one of those devices], or at least that method of use, and it took me awhile to figure it out. Tricky.

So, has anybody made any progress on the new question? It seems even trickier than the last one and I am totally stumped currently.

Ideas?

Well the only thing I've come up with is that somehow using the directions on the compass (e.g. N-E = l_ ), apply them to the lines we've already been given and a digital time will appear. I can't get anything to fit however.
