Great catch on the song title Will. Here are the lyrics:
Who Wants To Live Forever by Queen:
Quote:
There's no time for us
There's no place for us
What is this thing that builds our dreams yet slips away
From us
Who wants to live forever?
Who wants to live forever?
There's no chance for us
It's all decided for us
This world has only one sweet moment set aside for us
Who wants to live forever?
Who wants to live forever?
Who dares to love forever?
When love must die
But touch my tears with your lips
Touch my world with your fingertips
And we can have forever
And we can love forever
Forever is our today
Who wants to live forever
Who wants to live forever?
Forever is our today
Who waits forever anyway?

if you do a google search on Prison City is comes up with a book about Hunstville.
although google also offers Jackson and Joliet, IL as being called 'Prison City'
if you have a look at the wiki for Joliet, its famous for having the prison in which Prison Break was filmed. did PB do an ARG at any point for promo?

Hunstville TX is actually officially nicknamed "The Prison City"

It seems like the game is just starting off real slow...
I'm curious if the 'cast of players' were the people whom the PM asked for their location.

Dev, I think by "cast of players" he means the people in this tale whom he then names (The Founder, The Hanged Bride, The Pride, etc.) rather than us as players.

Ah..
I'm just trying to figure out if everything Songwraith has posted is just prolog to the game. Or if there actually is something hidden in what he has said.

I sent a youtube message to songwraith - something along the lines of my location (austin, TX) and I asked how far am I from the prison city.
The reply: 15656F, NE
26d, 19h
I checked google maps and I am 179 miles to huntsville - which is 945120 feet (thinking that the 15656F might have meant feet, but now that I think about it, 15656 feet is only about 3 miles). Any other ideas?
edit: 15656 is the zipcode for Leechburg, PA which is definitely in the north east (NE) and according to google maps is 22hours and 22 minutes from Austin.
NE is also nebraska
there is no area code 565
those are my thoughts

just wanted to throw this out there. . . songwraiths youtube page says he's from Germany. could the NE be an international abbreviation? i'm pretty sure that the 26d is 26 days and the 19h is 19 hours and that would make the days and hours plausible if it were from texas to someplace across the ocean. any thoughts?
edit: i found a site that gives all the abbreviations for NE, maybe it will help
