If you look through this "sea of glass" the writing on the bottoms line up to spell www.marevitreum.com

Once at marevitreum.com the words "seek and ye shall find" appear when you mouse over the central text cluster. If you mouse over any of the "seek..." words, portions of a letter appear, indicating that there will be trials and asking the reader to send other people who are interested in the trials to the site.

Circled around the central text clusters are blurred out text clusters with red letters that become focused when you mouse over them.

The red letters spell out OCT THIRTY FIRST NEW YORK CITY

There is also a form in the lower right hand corner that accepts e-mail addresses and (I think) e-mails the form responses off to amanuensisSPLATmarevitreum.com.

I have sent my e-mail addy and also e-mailed amanuensisSPLATmarevitreum.com directly, but have yet to recieve a response.

I haven't gone through them all yet, but they all seem to tie in with disasters (great fires, tsunamis, earthquakes, floods, nuclear bombs, etc). I've tried 'disaster' and 'disasters', 'flood', 'fire', 'flood and fire' and 'prophecy' as the answer, but they're wrong. Also, Atlantis has a question mark next to it, this could be the question we've to answer, or it could just be that no one knows when it was allegedly flooded.

 		Hey All...

I felt like doing a little research. I noted that the pentagram shape of the words at the beginning could mean something about the 5 elements; fire,water,wind,earth,spirit.

Next to each city/date is the element that caused destruction.

Spirit means that it was humans that caused the destruction.

Yeah that makes sense. Although a few of the destructions were man made, like The library of Alexandria being destroyed, the bombing of Nagasaki, the fall of Constantinoplem the fall of Jerusalem, and the battle of Atlanta. I'm not so sure how those would fall into fire/water

I listed those as Fire.
I'm pretty sure the library burnt down, Nagasaki would be Fire, and Atlanta was definitely burnt down.
I guessed "fire" for Constantinople & Jerusalem, since invading armies tend to burn down buildings, rather than try to flood them.

 		An interesting note of information:

Mare Vitreum, if it was not obvious, is Latin for sea of glass. What is interesting is it is in a bible passage from Revelation 15, which I belive is the description of the apocalypse. The exact quote from the first page, "as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire" is a direct quote from Revelation 15.
