Lairosiel--very nicely done. And the Scientist's msg is really a Cryptogram which one can run through any good Cryptogram Helper for an immediate translation.

I've been away for a while and was browsing through my e-mail inbox and noticed I also received the original e-mail... but I have clearly missed a lot
What's happened so far? Just briefly read through the 8 pages... WTF is this I hear about Ron Paul? And we're waiting for this NPR broadcast?

The Ron Paul Stuff has NOTHING to do with this game.
Liberty Radio will have an online broadcast with Kate of the People This Sunday that may contain more clues or info.

The Scientist called in. At the end he said for anyone listening:
Quote:
13 9 14 4 3 15 14 20 18 15 12
which translates to:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
MINDCONTROL
ETA - looks like Lairosiel edited to add that...

sry ^^
edit: sniffel, do I play alone? *laugh*
well, the scientist left some comments on the message boards of some members
Quote:
Is this a good campaign?
Will The Man win the election? I am skeptical. Liking someone so unknown is difficult. Letting him have my vote is harder.
Carry on with your hard work. On every day, be careful. Never let your guard down! Truth is not hard to find. Always be diligent. Could The Man be our next President? Too possible, these days.
You are a strong supporter. Or are you? Understand that giving your support is a major decision.
also talked with Kate about the live talk:

good talk, nice to hear you talking about the campaign..
but I begin to worry about that so called Scientist, he acts real strange.
And you sounded worried too, after his call.

Yeah. Thanks for listening! I was pretty freaked out at first, I'll admit. But then I thought about it, and I decided he's probably some supporter of another candidate. That makes more sense. I'll bet those numbers were a phone number for a campaign HQ or something. I didn't catch exactly what he said. Who knows! I hope he doesn't bother all of The Man's supporters anymore!

I initiated contact with the Scientist (I usually side with the conspiracy theorists anyways )
I'm not that good with Cryptograms, so I posted my message "I don't trust him either. I listened to when you called into the radio. What do you mean by mind control" as an ROT-15 on his comment wall on the ning page.

This is an acrostic. The first letters of each sentence comes to spell out:
"I WILL CONTACT YOU."
So far, the codes have been rather simple compared to some of the beasts I've seen thrown around on these boards.

Soapbox Saturday I just put up an image of the flyer I handed out on Saturday around my hometown to help "spread the word". Needless to say, I don't think I'll draw in many new people, but man did it make me laugh. Is anyone else planning on posting something before the Tuesday deadline?
Aside from the message left on our pages, has the Scientist contacted any of you?

love ya flyer
well I just made a little cartoon, because I want to contribute something, but I live in a small village in Bavaria and they think I'm a freak already, don't need much more attention, so I didn't hand out something lol xD
īno message from the scientist yet ..

Hey guys,
Trying to catch up here. Just got back online after more than a week (starting a new job and transitioning to a home office is a pain).
I got the initial email and just signed up this afternoon. I am listed as Bartock (of course) and am member #56 I believe. I have started to add those of you I recognize as friends...
