I'm still stuck pretty good. Are the areas of each figure important? Or perimeters? Or just the color?

I don't have the slightest idea. Every time I think I am getting close, my theory breaks down. This one is going to puzzle me for a while.

Ok, just lost another hour on this, not got a lot to show for it but maybe this will be the spark for someone that it isn't being for me

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
All my figures have a whole inetger perimeter/circumference. Rectangle = 11, Circle = 8, Square = 2, 'Triangle'/Line = 0.5 or 1? Does a line have a perimeter?

The numbers (although they seem obscure) are what is needed to calculate the perimeter/circumference. sqrt2 for the square, pi for the circle.

This seems to hold for Adventuriks too, except the triangle with base 8.5, height 2. I'm getting 17.894 as the perimeter. Can someone confirm/deny this?

Perhaps these numbers with the relevant colours represent how many places to jump in the letter sequence to read off something viable?

Math help

My math skill are being tested here. Can I get an assist on this one? Solve for Area and circumference, please.

In case the image doesn't come through: 0.5 to the left of the square root of 2.

Kie_yeo, I worked on those ideas a long time yesterday with no headway. Just not connecting it all yet. The "line" shouldn't have a perimeter since it is only one dimension, but for the puzzle it may be .5 or 1 as you said. As for the triangle you pointed out, 17.9 is correct.

My perimeters are mostly whole numbers, but my areas include 3 decimals. Then what about the cube? Is the perimeter the edges (12) or sides (6)? And the area, surface area (6) or volume (1)?

Then trying to match the colors (and numbered letters) with the 3 colored letters and I don't get anything intelligible.

Mavado, my calculation on that square is .5 for each side. Circumference=2 and Area=.25

EDIT: Q 29 is up now.

Here is what I get for that triangle.

Mavado, I tried it that way, too. Then realized the mistake that shifting the triangles works for area, but not perimeter. You're losing the angled sides (hypotenuse) that way. Good way to think about it, though.

Ok, I thought that I had Q28, but for 'guessing', the best score I can hope for is to lose .1 IP. I'm scared to try anymore. If I guess again, my score will go down another 1 IP. Maybe I should wait for a hint on this one.

Q26

I need help! I emailed the World of IQ admin to make sure my question was correct, and apparently it is. They said "Your drawing is correct. Try to look at the picture as a whole."

I have tried the words shape and shapes, but neither of those worked. Any suggestions before I give up?

Q26

Thanks to ifihadahifi for his help, and to Mavado for confirming one of my ideas "rewind". Although I can't find any rewind button images that look like the picture I had! I'm glad that one is done with, no on to something really hard!

Q27

Has anyone noticed that:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Each shape is a different jpg file, and they are named with letters. Is this just random?

And:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The perimeter or area seems to correspond with the jpg names, 1=a 2=b etc...

I was terrified to hit the submit button, but I ended up being correct. Good news is, Q29 wasn't so bad. Let me know if you want to confirm your theory on the answer to Q28.

It seems like the that for the green ones the Perimeter is important like the green P and for the red ones the Area is important like the red A. Wonder if the blue L means Length? Whereas my blue circle corresponds to the "jpg name letter" of the perimenter.

But I don't see how this helps?
