so are those the ranges of PDT times but in the timezone's own setting? As in, all the points falling in the eastern timezone you converted to EST from PDT, so we have an actual range of EST times that things will happen in the eastern zone?

This seems to affirm that this is not merely a numerical puzzle, and something will happen at these times.
I don't see how you make that link. Maybe I'm missing something?
I don't think it's a purely numeric puzzle, since the numbers do represent positions. That doesn't mean something in the physical world will happen at the given locations.

Hey Jegger, what if you didn't use the maximum 2 entries and minimum 2 entries for each time zone. Might give you a better range if the extremes are removed.

That's right. Each range is listed as local time. It just seems significant to me. I suppose I went a little overboard with my previous post. Of course it's still possible that it's purely numerical, but unless it's a side effect of the encoding, why do it? It seems like a simpler explanation to say that the events are tied to the time zone which they're slated for. The simplest way that I can see that that would happen is that something occurs locally at those locations at those times.

I know we all want the points to be here in the US, but wouldn't China make more sense? Danais "there" and they have the highest population, so if the flood was coming here, wouldn't they head there first?

Remember how we keep saying [search] is your friend.
Here at the end of the thread about GPS Who is Going Where, you will find Phil the friendly attachment.

Want to know the real reason I'm going outside on Tuesday? It just sounds like a fun thing to do with a Tuesday afternoon. Get bubble tea, look for clues. Maybe we'll find something, maybe we won't, but it's better than if we just sat on our hands all through the 24th and argued about whether or not something's there.
Just my thoughts.
