I was just wondering why the first three names that supposedly submitted clues did not exist on the users page
Quote:
Three incorrect Cures sent in by Tresbien, Myopic, Funzo99, Puedo Ver, Vivi Nell and Larry Meyer. You have lost valuable members of your team to Quarantine to prevent such mistakes in the future

Puedo Ver translates from spainish in goolge translate as "can"
Vivi Nell translates from italian in goole translate as "live"
a google serch for Larry Meyer blind comes up with
http://www.blindchildrenscenter.org/marathon_Larry2005.htm
which happens to be in the Gold Ward.

not sure it is anything again but maybe Audrey submitted the cures to get out a msg......grasping here

Awhile back my first thought on seeing what appeared to be some eye damage or disease in subject five's left eye was "In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king".

Just offering this image now to support Rjp anf Mr. Toasty's hypothysis that a genetic predisposition, anomaly or deficiency causing one specific disease or abnormality may provide an immunity to another sickness.

I posted a while back that they could indeed be characters, and that Puedo Ver meant "Can I see" in spanish, but that I that was not totally right, as "see" in spanish is "mirar" and "ver" is "see" but in portuguese. Anyway, no new leads about that, I guess.

Not sure if this has been posted or not. I just saw the film and noticed some braille. I can say with certainty that I saw braille characters twice and almost certain a third time. They flashed so fast and they were colorful, but I couldn't make them out.

The appeared during the earliest parts of the characters' ward stay. Anyone who saw the film notice them and/or made them out? I debated about wearing my iamblind.org sunglasses during the film, dunno if it would have helped.

The braille flashed on people, one in particular that varied in color which included a shade of green, flashed on the doctor.

rjp, I didn't even notice!! DX Knew I should've been keeping a better eye for that stuff...I was too busy enjoying the movie. Maybe when I go home this weekend, I'll try to see it again...luckily I get in for free Razz

Quarantine up to 93.2% now
"154 Inactive Mass Users Quarantined"

Is seems to be almost doubling every day. We seem to be running out of time.

There are now 192 names on the list.

Edit : made a list of the current not infected to see if there is anything in common as the lurkers have now been infected,

Yikes. What do we do? We are stuck, and Audrey is no where.

I thought for sure ineffabelle would have heard from her by now. Seemed to me like belle was the trusted one that would get new clues.

Wonder if the Forum will explode once it reaches 100% INFECTED.

The MODERATOR posted a thread titled The last thing I want to see is... video a couple of hours ago and then removed it. Perhaps it was a trick to encourage posts without first checking the Quarantine list? Rolling Eyes

First off... sorry I've been MIA right when things exploded! (Real life has been unusually hectic the last few days....)

Seems to me that I might be the only one who can communicate with Audrey through Chris3ff so I sent him this just now...

Quote:
Re: iamblind Package Code
Thanks so much! That did help... it was exactly what we needed. We now know that Audrey found her sister! But we haven't heard from her in a while and are getting really worried. In the meantime, the infection rate is growing exponentially! I'm one of the few uninfected left! I don't know what to do...

Have you heard from Audrey? Do you know how I can reach her safely?

-Belle

Hopefully this will get us something useful... If anyone has any other ideas of what I should do let me know...

Audrey is with C3

Sorry to double post but I got a reply from Chris3ff:

Quote:

She is with me and a few others. If you want, I can relay a message to her.

Thoughts on what I should reply? It's late so I'll wait until morning so you guys can weigh in on what message we should relay...

Essentially though I'm thinking we need info on why Audrey is immune and how to look for a cure....

Also I'm wondering if we do find a cure should we even hand it over to The Moderator? I'm afraid they would just use it to modify the disease and make it resistant to the cure...

For the record, "ver" in spanish means "to see" and "mirar" means "to watch"

As far as Audrey goes, maybe it is similar to a chickenpox thing? Like, once you get it, you can't get it again? Maybe ask her if she ever had eye or optical problems/illness as a kid? Did I use too many question marks?

I'd definitely ask if she and her sister had any uncommon disease or medical anomaly.
