Thanks Bruce. Right now we are having fun reading the book together. (she reads me a chapter then I read her one Good Daddy Daughter time!) Based on your note I think I will let her attempt the online stuff first and then jump in if she gets stuck. She is cute though, her main concern was "When we win the money will we have to move to a bigger house? cuz my friends all live around here and I dont want to move."

Card #41 Solution

Hey everyone. I'm new to this website. I started the 39 Clues and it's pretty cool. My name is Henry Bridge. I'm stuck on one of the online cards. It's Card #41 Ace Of Spies. I've tried many times to figure out the solution but I can't. I've looked at the hints, but don't know the solution. All I've got so far is, Ovilo Camille is but I don't know the rest. I'd be really appreciated if someone knew the answer.

Card #3

Sorry for double posting, but I'm new so I can't edit my last post. I saw someone posting, that to unlock the first clue you have to enter the number of card #3. I looked for the card in my book, but I can't find it. Can someone please tell me what the code for it is please?

For card 41... if you have gotten that far, you know the secret of the clue, you just aren't folding the pages exactly correct. Anyway, the soluiton is:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
James Cahill is not a Lucian

As for the 1st clue, you have to solve card 3 to unlock the clue (entering the code makes the unlocked clue show up). If you need the code for card #3, it will be unique for you. For example, I can tell you that the two copies of #3 that I have are 22FC46MJX2 and 237DRWJJX2. However if you try to add these you will get two copies of the surveillance camera. Try it and find out. The reason for this is that, with each book (not the library version but the kind you get in bookstores) within the front cover you will find 6 cards. These 6 cards all have the same code on them. The first one to enter the code gets all 6 cards, but anyone else who enters this code only gets the surveillance camera card (#1). If you can't find card #3 (a Lucian Secret card called "Catacombs"... the front of the card looks like a maze) and you did enter the code that came with your book, I would say that somoene likly entered the code before you did.

What I would suggest doing is to email helpSPLATthe39clues.com. Include the code of cards that you got with your book and I am sure they will help you. If you borrowed the book from your library (and so have no cards), and you are located in the US, send a self-addressed postage-stamped envelope with sufficient postage to: The 39 Clues Mail-In Entry, Book #1 Title The Maze of Bones: Scholastic Inc, 557 Broadway, New York, NY 10012. If you don't live in the US, then check this website on where to send it:

http://www.the39clues.com/info/rules

If you were really asking for the solution to card #3 it is:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Paris

Hope this helps,
TheRealPip

My surveillance camera codes are 22FC46MJX2 and 237DRWJJX2... use them and pass them on!

Cards to swap....

I have some excess cards to swap (the codes have NOT been used): 9, 11, 14, 15 (x2), 23, 24, 29 (x2), 30 (x2), 44, 46, 47 (x2), 48, 51 (x2), 56, 61, 65, 66, 68.

I also have spare money / replicator cards but I am not sure if I should hold them until we know how the cards will combine.

I am looking for: 13, 16, 27, 28, 31, 32, 39, 43, 54, 57, 67, 72 and maybe physical copies of any of the 400+ cards.

Music from Book 1

Don't look if you haven't finished the book.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The best recording I have found (so far) of the music can be found on youtube.

Anyone found a better one?

OK, I can't really resist anything that has to do with books and puzzles, so here I am. My involvement was confirmed when walking through my local bookshop and saw they had the book and the car packs reduced. So... yeah, I'm a sucker for these things. Laughing

Haven't had much time to explore the site / cards etc. yet but I've read up on the confusion with the 'promo' cards, and I'll be keeping my eye out over here for any. Have yet to see the book anywhere but WH Smiths yet though, and as I say, it was reduced there!

I can help you with 13, 16, 32, 39, 43, 57, and 72. Unfortunately, I can't help you with the physical 400 series cards.

I will trade the following: 46, 47, 48, 51, 56, and 68

Confused

Ok, I'm really confused now and would love some more help. ON the inside of my book it says there are 6 Game Cards Inside. Then on the game pack it says 16 cards. Are those two different sets? I've already entered the game pack ones, and it worked fine. So is there a sepearte code or codes in the book? If so I can't find them, where in the book do I look?

Also, when I tried emailing that address, it didn't work, and said it didn't exist.

The cards in the book are tucked inside the front cover. Open the cover, look at the inside of it, and you should see an arrow to slide it out.

The book cards are different to those you get in the card packs.

I see the arrow, but no cards. I'm not sure why.

Pull out that arrow. If you can't pull it, check to see if there are stickers holding the plastic in place.
