ya, i used to love Incubus. But I don't care for their new shit at all. S.C.I.E.N.C.E. is one of my absolute favourites, but they sound nothing like that anymore.

Listening To: Meshuggah - Soul Burn

yeah you check flobots out listen to 'rise' if you get a chance Smile

my 1st metallica song i heard was "turn the page", then came 'enter sandman' best one so far!

listening to: Metallica-enter sandman(CRANK IT UP!)

Ahhhh, I see. I'm gonna guess you're a young dude then eh? I'm 24 so I kinda sorta grew up on the old 80's stuff. I picked it up in the 90's but who's coun ting. haha.

Their first 4 albums blow everything else away completely. Everything that came before 'Enter Sandman' is some of my favourite music ever made. Check out the albums on Wikipedia, everything from 'Kill 'Em All' to '...And Justice For All'. definitely worth your time.

What a cool weekend. Nuit Blache was insane. Too much to write about, but the 'Horroridor' fucked with my head. hahah.

Listening To: SikTh - Skies Of Millenium Night

Yeah timezones were definitely fucked up lol. It was around midnight i think....don't remember. All i know is i light up when they got there, they started drinking, and next thing i know there's two hot ass underagers locking lips on the couch. Damn i love my girlfriend.
Camping in the freezing cold? With drugs? That's some dope shit man! Enjoy that!

hahah, ya, it's going to be interesting. bringing a lot of movies and a portable dvd player in case the weather gets TOO fucked up.

What was the horroridor? My girlfriend grew up in france so she knows about some of that crazy shit (french canadian yeah?)
I may be doing a little cradle robbing haha. No, i'm 22 and she's 19, so it's not THAT bad...well, maybe it is. Fuck it, we were in the same class before i graduated, so maybe that makes it a little less bad. Or maybe i'm just a fucked up dude, who knows. Probably a lil of both.

Hey jars, have you heard the new all shall perish album? I'd like to know what you think about it...could just be another typical deathcore trash album, but there are a few songs on there that are pretty fucking epic.

the hororidor was an exhibit at the Nuit Blanche festival. It was inside Union Station (kinda like Toronto's Grand Central), and all it was was a long corridor where they placed 3 giant screens on 2 opposite walls, and played (at full volume) short clips of peopple dying and screaming from movies. So the whole thing was 6 screens of pure screaming and violence around you. It was fuckin intense. hahah.

I'll post a video once I get them onto YouTube. You've gotta see this shit.

And that's not cradle robbing. funny that you mention though. my 21 yr old brother texted me yesterday asking what age is too young for him. I said 17 is too young, 18 is ok and 19 is great. turns out the girl will be 18 at the end of the month. so i told him to wait, in your case, no biggie at all. if anything i miss bein with a chick whos just a little bit younger. there's an implied respect from her just because of the age gap. my girlfriend's actually a couple months older than me, and she fuckin acts like it. hhaha.

i have heard that new album. i like it. i've only heard it through once, but i rememebr thinking that i liked it a lot more than i expected to. thanks for reminding me, i'll have to get that one on my iPod soon.

cold ass camping trip in 2 days!!!

That horroridor shit sounds creepy....i like it, haha. Imagine seeing THAT shit while poppin something...
Yeah i like that she's a bit younger. A little too young, i get some shit from friends, but hey. I mean, 3 years isn't anything when you're older, it's just a big thing because we're younger.

Wait, a "core" album that we both agree is good?! Haha, just playing man. They've really matured as a group. Even the singer belts out a king diamond-esque high note on one song. I am very impressed with this album.

that's why I like that album, because it does the same shit, but differently. i love that track with the King Diamond type vocals. That's probably what stuck out most for me.

Well, that chick isn't TOO young I guess. Just had another conversation with my brother about his situation. He says 'man, i can't hang out with her till the end of the month, i know something is gonna happen'. And I keep telling him 'Wait, or if you really don't care then go for it'. She'll be 3 years younger than him in a couple weeks. I dunno, i don't think anyone will care.

Ya, the Horroridor was fuckin crazy. Just showed someone at work the video I took of it and got quite a reaction. hahah. I have to convert my phone video files to avi or something, then I'll post it on YouTube.

1 more day before cold ass camping. hahaha.
if i don't post again later, have a good weekend.

Damn, sounds pretty good. I gotta get into that shit haha. 'Cept in california you go camping and risk getting fucked up by bears. That would be the worst high killer ever.
On saturday i saw the drunkest man to ever walk the planet. This guy was absolutely plastered. Broke up and ruined a party all on his own. I karate chopped this fucker too, it was awesome. Ended with him getting arrested and me going home and getting fucked up. Awesomeness.
The fact that you are listening to skindred makes me weep.

hahaha, that sounds nuts. don't think i've ever karate chopped someone for real. haha.

ya the Grey Goose is good stuff. can barely taste it going down, good clean buzz, never got a hangover from it. fuck, now i think i have to have some tonight. haha

hey! Skindred ain't bad shit. i rememebr back in 200...3? when their first album came out, me and friends went camping and got drunk to that record all the time. those were fun trips man. damn we were dumb. hah.

just did the Zombie Walk here in Toronto on Sunday. Actually we missed the walk itself, just caught up with all the undead at the theatre afterwards for some horror movies. fun fun shit. some of the other people costumes blew my mind. one chick had her actually pregnant belly sticking out a hole in the front of her shirt with a prostheic zombie baby bursting out of her stomach. incredible. haha

Who hasn't heard of the Ramones? lol
I love She & Him. Volume One is so amazing, I can't pick out one song that isn't great.

no offense, but did your parents shelter you for the majority of your life? i really mean NO OFFENSE. But you've been talkin about Enter Sandman and Blitzkrieg Bop like it's the first time you've ever heard the songs. I REALLY mean no offense. I can't stress that enough. It was actually meant as an honest question, as dickhead as it sounds. haha. My mom hid my Marilyn Manson CD's as a kid, so i know the feeling.

Halloween was fakin excellent. the last minute party worked out great. spent WAY too much on decorations, but everyone had a really good time. When my long haired buddy showed up as nurse-joker I thought he was a chick at first. haha. He won best costume by a mile. What a great time.

Listening To: Team Sleep - Kool-Aid Party
