What has happened to the wikibruce?

punks deleted everything. NOT HAPPY

fix: go to each page, look for the last legimitate edit, edit that version, copy the wiki source, and re-save.
rollback isn't going back far enough.

eta: damn kids. GET OFF MY LAWN! =P

eta2: don't know why there's a 500 server error now on the RSS feed for the recent changes. The timeline works, and the new feed (based on the timeline) also works. Really hope they didn't hack into the hosting. Evil or Very Mad

Don't know what their intent was. Some pages were edited focus on the video games, while others were typical malicious edits.
If it happens again I may lock it down, at least until it starts up again (supposedly)

ok, just checked referrers and found that novaflame and beowulf weren't actually part of the attack, but reverting/removing the malicious edits. I've unblocked them, so you can pass it on, and thank for me for being proactive Smile

as a note - if people make edits, even good edits, but note them as "Removing all content" - that kinda seems malicious Wink

"removing all malicious content" would have been more accurate and descriptive, hehe

I can't understand why anyone would like to mess with that wiki... Sad

Your wiki is like a must-seen website everywhere I go to talk about Resistance 2, it has been quoted in every single forum I have been...
Somebody in Myres has created a thread asking for people to fix it / update it again.

really? I'm not sure what to do then... the wiki says their IPs are unblocked, as are their usernames. I can't find a place that would still have them blocked.
Have they tried making a different account? If that's blocked, then the ip unblock must not be working.

Yeah, I think locking wikis after their runs is sadly becoming mandatory -- I went back to check some old / completed Despoiler wikis and they were loaded with spamposts.
