 		I asked Echo how we could tell a bad spirit from a malevolent spirit. This was his reply

I can't help but be hung up on the phrasing of that. The obvious interpretation is that sometimes he won't be able to tell us, but that isn't quite what he said. He didn't say he would be silent. My brain immediately went back to the "truth in the silence" things, but I have no idea what that means in that context. It doesn't seem likely that he's saying he only sometimes tells the truth.

The first part of the message is pretty clear to me: The way to know is through our own judgments. And the last bit fits with that if he means that sometimes we can't just go to him for the answer, but the phrasing just bothers me.

I got this from Echo, re-confirmation of a few things:

So looks like we'll see changes, probably after Mona crosses. I wonder if the wolves comment was a warning not to answer distortion, even if it's a message from a kid that sounds like a cry for help. Dunno if it means that one of us is a double-agent or something. I e-mailed distortion just the once, no e-mails since.

Critical time, so we need to be extra vigilent. I'll be sending out my positive energy to Mona, Echo, Margaret and the others.

 		I asked echo if we could verify spirit allignment (good or evil) and this:

 		Hmmm So Grace is neither here nor there. I wonder if she's in a purgatory of sorts or if the "innocent" occupy another place we don't know? I'll ask.

I think that this confirms that our Margaret is Margarete Petrautzki; secretary to Konstantin Raudive, the parapsychologist who investigated EVP. The phrase, "She had told the experimenter during her lifetime that she did not believe in an existence after death." is on the mataleon mp3 from /hallway. So now she believes.

I'll post about the last part in the Echo & the Bunnymen thread.
