What branch does Grace belong to?

OK. What follows is a summary from my kids (8 & 11).

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
1. We know her father is NOT lucian
.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
2. We know her grandfather's second marriage is in the Ekat line.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
3. That doesn't mean the grandfather was Ekat BUT he is unlikely to be a group that doesn't get on with Ekats.

4. If Grace was Ekat - surely the kids would have been given a hookup with their uncle - actually Half 1st Cousin Twice Removed.

5. If Ekat is the most likely BUT Grace is not Ekat then perhaps Grace (or Amy) is the re-combination of the factions.

6. Perhaps Grace has four grandparents from different factions OR

7. Amy has four great-grandparents from different factions.

I dunno but it sounds interesting.

The kids are absolutely certain that they know what "Uncle" Alfred was going to tell them in the cafe....

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
He was going to tell them that their fatehr went to WestPoint at the same time as Eisenhower Holt....

Latest Message (#21)

Ummm. Maybe our theory (see previous post) was wrong.

There are two possible locations (answers to the clue)....

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The actual answer is 26N76 but we don't know if that is 76W or 76E. One ends up in the middle of Nowhere, India and the other is in the Bermuda triangle (which is controlled by the Ekats). Maybe Grace is an Ekat after all...

The kids claim that if Grace was Ekat, she wouldn't have needed to pay someone for a location....

He doesn't spend alot of time on the computer and he is in bed by 9:30 on school nights. I just hope the competition is fair for that age group as a great deal of adults are in the "game".

One thing to remember is that at the end of the game, there is a competition/tournament for the top players. The children must read and comprehend what they absorb in order to win the grand prize. Children who may be getting info/answers from the internet will more than likely not even make it to this stage...just my opinion.

I am playing the game with my friend's 9 year old daughter...since all my children are four-legged and furry, lol. If anything, this game has been a great bonding tool for parents and their children and quite educational.

Lilly

you do not enter clues into anything you have to wait until they are unlocked and there are more just to awnser the inbox puzzles you have to get cards and read the book also you get 4 new messageds in your inbox each week its not going to be that easy sorry you have to do alot more to figure out a clue

1st clue

Ok, so my first clue box is still glowing. I have card 3 (i emailed scholastic and told them I didn't get any with my book) they did give me the 6 cards, but told me I can't get any more by emailing.

However there is nothing to solve on my card 3. It's just a card that leads me to the my clues section. And then I can't get that box open. Has anyone else ran into this problem. I thought if I was patient it would hopefully solve itself. However, this doesn't seem to be the case Sad

Does anyone have more suggestions for me?

hmmmm

have you emailed them that the card didnt have a question on it??? they might of messed the card up on accident and they will probably be able to fix the problem if that doesnt work i dont no what to say but buy the book again

THE KEY THING(even tho we already said there probably isnt a point in knoying this)

i think that the M on the key stands for madrigals but there is also a C on the top that probably means cahills so i think that the madrigals and the cahills somehow go to together

I think that it's simply too early for us to know how the Clues will work, one way or another. The first Clue box, however, does seem to be unlocked after you enter the codes that you receive in the book. I don't know if you have to solve the Catacombs card also. It just isn't that clear.

Card 3 should be the Catacombs. When you look at it in the "my cards" page you should be asked a question (like every "solvable card"). If you put in the answer of:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Paris
the card should unlock and you should have a link to your "my clues" page where your first clue is unlocked (for me, it is the 5th from the left on the top row). If you then click on that clue you should get a little "move" play in the box at the top center of the screen:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It will show a card that has the following printed on it:
RESOLUTION
THE FINE PRINT TO GUESS,
SEEK OUT RICHARD S____.

The the "RESOLUTION" word glows, becomes the only thing in the box, and unscrambles to "IRON SOLUTE"

If that does not work for you, what I would suggest is one of the following:

  • Create a new user, and send a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope to 39 clues to get the cards virtually (this takes some time to get a responce).
  • Create a new user and ask the 39 clues help email for the 6 book cards again
  • Create a new user and buy a copy of the book, which will give you cards and a code to enter
  • Email 39 clues help, let them know what you have done to unlock the clue; let them know you understand this is how it is done, but that it isn't unlocked yet and you were wondering if something might be wrong.

Hope this helps.

What branch does Isaac Newton belong to?

Check Message #17 (The Ekaterina file from Grace).
Now check Card #25 (The Ekaterina card for John Flamsteed).

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
One says he is Ekaterina. One says he is Lucian.
