I'm very happy you decided to join in and help us. However, this is a logical discussion board not a hacker chat room. Not only is it extremely difficult for even us native English speakers to decipher what you're trying to say, but a number of the members on this board speak different languages and will be unable to use a translator to help them understand. So please, use plain old English next time.

There are also great benefits to becoming a member of the boards. It's simple, free, you can edit your posts, add an avatar and signature, send private messages, track when someone replies to a thread you're participating in, and so much more!

Also, we would very much like to see how you came to the conclusions you did so we can all be on the same page. IE, where did you find the "In Situ" reference, etc.

On voodoochild's picture, is there some significance to the "b" on her guitar? It seems to be printed on a paper and wedged behind the strings.

I haven't had much of a chance to look into things since this morning, but if we get stuck, it may be worth asking Finn and Jesse what the significance of the 'B.' could be, since they said she used to send them messages through that. Maybe it was meant for them?

Maybe it's the start of a message, and the pictures that are to come will each have a letter in them that contributes to the full message?

Or maybe it means we should go to /b/ which, uh, somebody else can do that and report back, really it's fine.

Also, and this may be completely irrelevant, but the strings showing on the guitar are, from left to right, D,G,B,E (high e- the topmost and bottommost strings on a guitar are 2 octaves apart). The low E and A are hidden behind the note.

Coincidence? Looking for patterns where none exist? Probably. Still, if this mystery requires some musical knowledge, I might just be of some help for a change.

Also, I suppose I'll be surfing /b/ for a night or two, since nobody else seems willing.

I'm partial to Edison's Black Maria, arguably the first movie studio in America. Still, could be a lot of things, including something that has absolutely nothing to do with history and more to do with a PM that just likes the sound of the name.
