I'm a bit slow on checking my email (I know, shame! especially since I'm an ARGer) but I got the email too.

Guess I'll jump on since IAB ended so disappointingly. Sad

Let's hope this one runs better.

Site update. Not much, though. Music changed again, the e-mail input box is now red and the fashion show ad is back, though the hand icon isn't displayed when you hover your mouse over it. The smileys changed back to swirly thingys, too.

Serial Lurker, turning poster here Wink Going to participate a little more public this time since I am joining on from the get go...

#1) Someone had mentioned in an earlier post that the morse code at the top had changed - it was changed to ..- which is the letter u

Accessing page http://www.psychosis-trio.com/ux114 redirects you back to the main page...

2) The source for the page reveals some info being passed to the flash file, nothing too interesting, but one item caught my attention "mark=mark_fv", doing a search for mark_fv revealed very little... or did it? All three results are in russian, the most interesting being: http://www.geocities.com/ppav2002/mark_fv.htm (or http://translate.google.com/translate?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.geocities.com%2Fppav2002%2Fmark_fv.htm&sl=ru&tl=en&hl=EN&ie=UTF-8 for the google translated version)...but it could still be unrelated

3) From what I can tell, the initial page id is 4531305626, which is why /page/4531305626 leads back to the home page...but so does every other /page/ followed by a numeric value... I am guessing at some point certain numbers will be available on here...

I got the original email a few days ago, but I have been out of town. I responded to it this morning and hope to hear something back from them. Sounds interesting, at least.

I got yet another personal email back from S T after I explained that "ifihadahifi" was the name of an old band I was in. Here's what they said:

That is quite good, palindromes are rather difficult to create in english, not so hard in Russian.

My band is called Psychosis, is a trio, it doesnt really do music, other than really loud noises.

This seems worth investigating. I did some Googling, and all I could find for "bands" that involve sound but not music are Bandoliers and, more interestingly, Radio Bands . Perhaps there will be some sort of radio broadcast involved?

Well my music preference is actually Experimental Noise which puts me at ease, but doesn't seem to be that way for anyone else i know.. it's a small genre but fits the description...

The 'Treaty of Astana' probably refers to the 2000 formation of the Eurasian Economic Community, a sort of Eurasian NAFTA, focused primarily on economic issues such as a common market, currency control, and so on. It also addresses common security and humanitarian issues. Member countries include: Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. Link.

The comment about being a band that "doesnt really do music, other than really loud noises," taken with the "You can be creative at destroying stuff, yes. Paradox." leads me to read band as in 'band of guerrillas' rather than garage band.

ux114.com appears to be a Chinese gaming site, formed 5/08.

And someone wanted more music. Here's the previous.

I have to agree with you Pancito, I believe it is a play on words using the term "band". definitely seems to point more towards a political or militant group of some sort.

Wondering if this Treaty of Astana is fictional, part of the IG scenario and related to recent events surrounding "US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, in Astana on October 5 (and) the notion that Washington is vying with Moscow for the loyalty".

Kazakhstan is oil-rich. Dunno
