Nah. Mariska is part automated part run by the crew running this. They just dont wanna hold our hands for this whole thing. When i spoke to Jeff before i became REALLY active in TDP after i finished TEC. I asked him a bout clues twice, letting him know we were stumped pretty bad. Tec Took the collective Unfiction group 3 months. This is the second one. Were running in about month seven. Some of you might remember when Stochio posted about my....interaction on the boards near the end of July. That was whilst i was still working on TEC. I wasn't aware at the time at there was a second ARG or a Second book. Anywho, After me and my crew completed TEC i went back and looked over the stuff in the old boards as well as became very active in this board. And for what its worth, "I" think we've been kicking ass but relying to heavily on clues from Jeff and his Staff. If we cant do this on our own ( and i know its hard) He might not run the ARG for "The Eternal Prison". Looking back at TEC some of the hardest clues were right infront of us. In complete plain sight. We have to be over thinking part of this. Its just a matter of time before one of us unfucks this mess of clues and posts something tangible.
Dont forget the last major bread crumb weve been given, now tells us to send some mail. So thats what im doing. I just want to try to wait a lil longer to see if i need to mail something besides like an empty envelope or simple letter
Lets show Jeff and his crew how much we kick ass, by really buckling down and showing them what were really made of.

I like your optimism and energy, and I agree that we've been relying too heavily on additional clues from the PMs. We've done fine when the clues have been clear, or when it was apparent that there was something there to look for, but....
I'm not sure how we were supposed to know to remove the hyphens from 978-0-316-02210-1 in order to get /9780316022101/
I'm not sure how we were supposed to figure out on our own what the right parameters were to solve the page 7 clue.
And currently, I'm not sure what we are even supposed to "SEND" to that address, which is what has prevented me from following up on that. I'm glad that you are sending something, though, and I'll be interested to know what happens.

It's sent. Well here's hoping. If i know Jeff....and from the brief contact with him ive had, I might. My package will...ahem...rile his interest. It arrives 10/16/2008 by noon...hopefully by the end of the week we can continue working. Ill reveal my package contents once something else happens. It wouldn't shock me to find a personalized clue tho due to the contents in the package ^.^
Urgent Update
"this account has been frozen"
after alerting the mariskajj4 email to the status of the package i sent

Jesus....It looks like Mariska's in some pretty deep shit. I think I've advanced the plot to a point where i doubt anyone's gonna get any thing from her now. So i guess i wait for a reply via post or something.
Only reply i get now is <this>
Someone test this theory please.

After discussing that ive sent the package and also just talking to her in game. No CC or pics due to the email containing tracking numbers.
So what do you mean "discussing that" and "just talking to her in game."
Discussing what? Talking to Mariska how? What did she say?

Okay, I'm really sorry for this but I am still confused. It seems to me that you are still leaving out a lot of the background context for what happened.
1) How did you talk to Mariska in game?
2) Was that before or after her email account was frozen?
3) Did you tell her that you were going to send her a package?
4) What did she say? How do you know that she's in trouble?
Am I the only one who's confused?

All via email. I think i made it sound a lot more drawn out then intended.
#1 - I sent an email asking about what i was supposed to send to which i got a basic reply. #3 then i sent an email about how i was sending a package, i included a tracking number because well if i know Jeff the more info i provide the more of a response ill get. I then proceded to describe the situation that i have been portraying my character. Living in the sewers etc... as i said flavor text =D #2 THEN i got a reply saying "account has been frozen" so i sent a generic crap email containing the phrase "Test" and expectign the usual off grid but i got the "account has been frozen" again so "In game" it seems that mariska is likely in trouble with or has had a run in with the SSF
I know i was confusing. sorry bout that. Been a long day.

Okay so there was no actual "discussion" or "talking."
That is much clearer now, thanks! It seems that we still don't know what's up with Mariska, though.
