That's the actual location of the Phantom Ranch Bible Camp in Wisconsin, so it looks like a possible 'stock' photo use.

I suppose so, but then is it just a coincidence that "Phantom Ranch" is an actual Bible camp? I don't see the words "Bible camp" on the sign.

Someone commented that the "Our Ministries" page says Camp Francis is in Spokane, but the Coventry Hall page says "Libery Lake Wisconsin". Liberty Lake is in Spokane county, so maybe that's what the Our Ministries page meant.

Moving over from the Facebook Citizens of Virtue group, which seems to have died an early death. Some things I've noticed that haven't been posted here yet ...

"Camphire" (aka Henna) sounds an awful lot like "campfire" ... maybe a reference to Camp Francis?

From the Daily Inspirations, the Quileute are from western Washington state, which is also the location of Camp Francis. The Weekly Inspiration right after that entry talks about "inclement weather" (Seattle, anyone?) and a barn ... again, Camp Francis? The one after that, "nor is the beginning ordained" I'd suggest might mean that Pastor Grace ISN'T the cause of all this, that we're looking for someone else.

Bridegroom of Blood comes from Exodus 4 (Xander says so in his video at on his aunt's site, but I actually found the reference online before seeing that.) The TNIV text, in case anybody is interested, is below, and deals with Moses and his family on their journey back to Egypt from Midian:

Ex 4:24 At a lodging place on the way, the Lord met Moses and was about to kill him.
25 But Zipporah took a flint knife, cut off her son's foreskin and touched Moses' feet with it. "Surely you are a bridegroom of blood to me," she said.
26 So the Lord let him alone. (At that time she said "bridegroom of blood," referring to circumcision.)

So, when Xander says he named his band when he was drunk ... he's talking about the fact that basically he named the band "Circumcision!" *grin*

Killing me

don't need to print, just use a paint program - the images are the same size and can be overlaid... see attachment Cool

and the solution:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
send postcard to my mother to tell her I am ok and hope she'll take me back soon thanks

I used to think i was a smart person until.... i met you guys.....

Where is the reading list to over lay the tabby letter and what made you decide the reading list to overlay. i got the "VENT" connection but the other part though???

Why use a real church camp in a contextual game that is got a bit of a anti-cult bent to the theme?

Luke 19:26 was listed in the corner of today's video. The passage in the TNIV bible reads:

Lk 19:28 After Jesus had said this, he went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem.
29 As he approached Bethphage and Bethanyt at the hill called the Mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples, saying to them,
30 "Go to the village ahead of you, and as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, which no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here.
31 If anyone asks you, 'Why are you untying it?' tell him, 'The Lord needs it.' "
Lk 19:32 Those who were sent ahead went and found it just as he had told them.
33 As they were untying the colt, its owners asked them, "Why are you untying the colt?"
Lk 19:34 They replied, "The Lord needs it."
Lk 19:35 They brought it to Jesus, threw their cloaks on the colt and put Jesus on it.

After that Proverbs 29:15 comes up, and Grace quotes verbatim. The TNIV bible reads:

Pr 29:15 The rod of correction imparts wisdom, but a child left to himself disgraces his mother.

on Tabitha's Live Journal http://straytabby.livejournal.com/ she has an entry for Sept.19th which has an "LJ cut", a link from a short blog entry to a full version of that day's entry http://straytabby.livejournal.com/1943.html#cutid1 and there is where the image is posted.

I noticed that there's a spot in the Patience video where there's a noise in the background. The noise starts when there's a change in camera angle (wider angle on Grace before he walks to the camera). At first I thought it was just that the audio recording had changed as well and was picking up the sound of crickets, but the noise abruptly stops before there is another cut.

Maybe nothing, but someone with sound editing expertise might play with it.

(Joining in for the first time -- been catching up!)

For what it's worth, Credo is a real game -- it's based around the development of the Nicene Creed. (Yes, really!)

Also debuting here after a feverish catch-up last night. I'm not sure how much I'll be able to contribute considering how quickly everyone else seems to be going.

That would certainly seem to align with the references to noise in Erin Cole's letter.

[permits himself a fist pump and a "booyah" after his minor and potentially insignificant contribution]

I don't think it's an accident that the PATIENTS video opens up with a clear "Phantom Ranch" sign with it's address on the mailbox. If you look closely at the boy behind Tabitha, I'm pretty sure he has a Phantom Ranch shirt on.

Are CoV trying to keep Camp Francis hidden? Tabitha said men were at her house to pick her up so maybe the idea is to keep the camp's true location concealed.

The only Liberty Lake google maps revealed was near Spokane. And there's no Spokane Valley - at least officially, for an address. Unless that's just referring to an area of the city.

New inspiration is up, and it strongly suggests
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
New Year's Eve
. Don't know how that fits in the larger scheme of the DIs and WIs yet, though.

Weekly Inspiration 1

Quote:
Though inclement weather may
rise, I shall not hide in a barn like
a mouse. My future is not some
treasure locked in a shrine out of
my reach. The pan of daily bread
that is mine is at my beck and call,
send from above like parts of an
angelic aria. The warring factions
shall obey me, for even a hound
can sip from a chalice.

I've been looking at the weekly inspiration, and I've come up with the following letter changes that match our categories (I've also made a guess about the second category based on other letter changes I could find). Assuming there are 3 in each category, I'm still missing one Money, and a couple of these may be wrong (it feels weird to use mouse twice). Even so, it seems like this should be enough to get some sort of message out of it.

Flowers:
Weather -> Heather
rIse -> rOse
daiLy -> daiSy

Jewelry:
lockeD -> lockeT
pAn -> pIn
Warring -> Earring

Money:
bEck -> bUck
Hound -> Pound

Capitals:
bArn -> bErn
Some -> Rome
parTs -> parIs

Insects:
Mouse -> Louse
rEach -> rOach
anD -> anT

Codes:
moUse -> moRse
arIa -> arEa
Sip -> Zip

Hilarious how the DI for today suggests
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
New Year's Eve
, and the scripture reference is Numbers 10:9-8.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
10... 9... 8...

Great post, aarizpe! I think you're totally right about the missing category ... anyone care to backsolve DI2 for "jewelry"?

Assuming that "send" is just a typo for "sent", the missing "money" one might be CENT.

So it looks like our idea of this week's answers fitting the previous week's groups isn't working. No idea where we're going with OREGON and NEW YEAR'S EVE, assuming those to be correct.

Sip can also go to Kip, which is Laos' currency (another repeat from Zip, but the only one I could find using wikipedia's currency list.

Ordering by the category as you have it aaarizpe gives these letters as being changed:
WILDAWEHSASTMEDUIS

and these as the changed letters:
HOSTIEUPKERSLOTREZ

Ordering by the paragraph gives these letters as being changed:
WIAMUSDEALEDTIWHSS

and these as the changed letters:
HOELRRTOISUTSEEPKZ

I underlined the second category letters, as these would be the ones we are least sure of until we solve the second riddle, but I can't come up with easy changes of them to make sense of what is left.

ETA: Cent is nice too .... A search of capitals reveals ARIA can also be APIA (Samoa). Maybe each has 4? Can we find a couple more...?
